Customer Reviews of Oxo Good Grips Natural Bristle Veggie Brush
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't Bother Comment: This brush didn't last a month. The bristles are too soft and become deformed. I last used it when I steamed cleaned my barbeque grill and then tossed it. Customer Rating: Summary: Bristles get bunched up Comment: I've owned this brush for two years. I was looking for a vegetable brush to mainly clean off carrots. Now the good part about this is the middle portion of the brush has a hole in it. The carrot fits right inside and brushes off the dirt. The bad part is that the bristles get twisted & bunched up. They sometimes break off but it is not often. If it were not for the bristles this would be a terrific brush. Customer Rating: Summary: Okay, but nothing special. Comment: I have other veggie brushes that I like better. I wanted to replace a brush that had a cracked wooden handle and I like Good Grips products, but not this brush. I put it in the dishwasher and it got food particles stuck in it during the wash cycle and it ended up very soggy after the dry cycle. It took overnight to air dry. It's not that good at scrubbing either. I think synthetic bristles do a better scrubbing job. More Reviews The flexible non-slip handle is comfy for you but the stiff and sturdy bristles make dirt very uncomfortable. Cleans vegetables like nobody's business! Choosing Appliance -> Salad spinner While some may consider this a bit on the gadgety side, I think it is a must as dressings do not stick to water-logged salad greens. Choosing Appliance -> Fridge / Freezers A large number of freezers have eliminated defrosting by continually circulating the air inside the freezer compartment, thus avoiding frost build-up -- a feature well worth paying a little extra for. Oxo Good Grips Natural Bristle Veggie Brush Useful info -> How should I decorate my kitchen? What will you choose, paint or wallpaper? Modern emulsion paints are very easy to apply using rollers, brushes or pads. Two coats of a good quality silk finish are recommended for durable cover. If your kitchen front is plain you can liven up the room by choosing patterned wallpaper. A light colour will make your room appear larger. Because kitchens are working rooms where moisture, grease and dust collect choose a wipe clean surface such smooth vinyl. Avoid embossed papers as they accumulate dirt, are hard to clean and easily graze. |
