They used to come as part of a set for teflon coated pots/pans. I finally came across the OXO fork, the product is hefty, and does the job. When a tool works the way it is supposed to, you have to give it a good rating, at least nowadays. More Reviews Flip, stir, mash, and serve with OXO's Nylon Tools. Oversized heads, sturdy necks, added length, and comfortable grips set these Tools apart. Turners are terrific for frying and wok cooking, and Spoons are superb for stirring. Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result. You can save around 500 hours a year so it is worth thinking about. If you have a small kitchen or live alone, choose a slimline model. Choosing Appliance -> Food Processor This is a big ticket item, but worth its weight in gold. It will save so much time when it comes to simple chopping or more advanced preparations like mayonnaise. As with most things, buy quality-- it will last longer, be capable of tougher jobs, and give you less problems.
