Customer Reviews of Chef's Choice 830 WafflePro Heart Waffle Iron
Customer Rating: Summary: The best waffle maker in the world Comment: I love this waffle maker. I've had mine for at least 4 years and have never had a problem with it. I make waffles quite often so it is well used. However, I do use a non stick spray so have no problem with anything sticking. I was surprised to hear that some have had problems with theirs after just a few uses. I love it for the fact that it doesn't take very long to cook the waffles. I am including the recipe that I use. It was given to me by my daughter, and she uses it for pancakes and waffles. Hope you enjoy. Out Of This World Pecan Waffles Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 1/2 Cups Flour 4 Teaspoons Baking Powder 1 1/2 Tablespoons Sugar 3/4 Teaspoon Salt 3/4 Cup Oil 2 1/4 Cups Milk -- try 2 cups 2 Eggs -- beaten 1/2 Cup Ground Pecans Measure and sift dry ingredients together. Mix oil with milk and eggs. Stir into dry ingredients. Mix until smooth. Add pecans and mix well. Bake immediately or let set in the refrigerator over night. They will keep will covered for 2 weeks. Easy and good. I put the eggs in a bowl and beat them, then add the oil and milk. The rest of the ingredients I just add to the bowl with the liquids. Saves getting two bowls dirty. I never sift the dry ingredients either. I don't usually put the pecans in, but is good with them added. I also half the recipe because there are only three of us, and that is still enough for a couple of batches Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Product Comment: My 14 year old daughter makes waffles with this iron. Works nicely. Simple. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Waffel Iron Comment: I'm from Germany and missed dearly my waffels, with wip cream and hot cherries, as we eat at home. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Ease of cleaning is well worth considering at the outset. Stay clean liners resist dirt build-up but pyrolitic cleaning is the ultimate. It burns off all baked-on debris at 500°C so that all you have to do is sweep out the resulting ash. Look out for ovens with a steam cleaning facility, too, and remember that some ovens have removable inner doors that are easy to clean. Choosing Appliance -> Salad spinner While some may consider this a bit on the gadgety side, I think it is a must as dressings do not stick to water-logged salad greens.
