It's attractive, it saves energy, and unlike ordinary teakettles, has a window that shows how much water is in it and shuts off automatically, so it never boils over. The reviewer who commented that it's hard to fill must not have read the instructions. It can be filled easily through the spout, so the lid doesn't have to be raised for filling. The cord stows away in its base, the water is getting hot super fast and the base stays put when you lift the kettle up. It is better to buy a couple of excellent knives and slowly add to your collection rather than buying an entire set of low quality knives. Start with a chef knife and paring knife. You will also want to buy a sharpening steel. Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result.
