Customer Rating:   Summary: 10 Round Nonstick Tube Pan Comment: I have really enjoyed my tube pan. I have baked at least 10 cakes since I received my product. The clean up is so easy. I am able to wipe my pan out with a wet paper towel and then just wash in warm soapy water. I am very pleased with my purchase. I was very disappointed upon receiving it to note that there were already numerous scratches on the outer edges of the inside of the pan. Since the interior is a nonstick coating, that wasn't a good sign. I requested and promptly received a replacement. That too had the same problem. I bake cakes all the time using this and other Hoffritz pans and they are absolutely wonderful. I was first impressed by the weight of the pan, the non-stick sufrace, and the even heat distribution. I noticed a remarkable difference in the quality of my cakes from the very first time I used the pan. Not only do my cakes look and taste great, I never have to worry about my cakes getting stuck to the pan or being lopsided. I'll never buy a cheap pan again. It's really is worth the extra couple of dollars. I doubt I'll ever have to replace any of the pans I've bought from them. I also purchased the Hoffritz springform pans and 9" rounds, same great results. Choosing Appliance -> Spatulas Buy a sturdy stainless spatula for general uses and a Teflon spatula for your non-stick pan. In addition, buy a silicon baking spatula for scraping bowls. Silicon is an amazing substance which is heat resistant up to 550 degrees. Choosing Appliance -> Non-stick Pans We recommend having at least 1 high quality non-stick saute pan. It makes cooking eggs and delicate items like fish a breeze. It also cuts down on the amount of fat necessary to effectively saute. The best place to buy such pans is from a restaurant supplier. Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Cleaning & Maintenance Oven Never use a scouring pad of any sort to remove stubborn stains or soiled areas, since these pads scratch the finish and any future soiled areas won't clean up as well, especially with the self-cleaning models. When the oven is cool to the touch, place a cloth or sponge, dampened with warm to hot tap water, onto the soiled area and allow it to sit, for about ten minutes or so, to help loosen the soil. |
