Customer Reviews of KitchenAid FT Food Tray Attachment for Stand Mixers
Customer Rating: Summary: KitchenAid Food Tray Attachment Comment: This is a must if you have the KitchenAid Fruit/Veggie Strainer and Food Grinder attachment. The tray simply slides on top of the strainer attachment and provides a larger area to pour in whatever fruit or vegetable you are working with. Customer Rating: Summary: Really nice but leaks Comment: This is a great attachment if you are going to process sloppy items through the grinder or fruit and vegetable strainer. The only down side is if the item is really juicy, it may leak between the seams. I used this for making fruit nectar/juice and processing tomatoese and it did great but I had to keep a towel handy to keep things from getting to messy. The leaking was minor but enough that with the juice being hot, it could have gotten out of hand, however I couldn't have gotten the canning done without this attachment. Customer Rating: Summary: kitchenaid food tray attachment Comment: the food tray was excellent, it definitely adds a lot more room to work with on grinding meat and other food. Customer Rating: Summary: Good product, good purchase Comment: Dishwasher safe, helps with the making of sausages or just with meat grinding. You'll go faster because you have less to worry about. Good Kitchenaid product. Customer Rating: Summary: It works! Comment: It does what a food tray is supposed to do. Makes it possible to load more food for grinding. More Reviews A handy way to hold large quantities of food when using your mixer. Helps maintain even flow when used with the grinder attachment. Fits all KitchenAid stand mixers. Model FT. Choosing Appliance -> Shopping Washer When shopping for a new washer, look for a front loading (horizontal-axis) machine. This machine may cost more to buy but uses about a third of the energy and less water than a top-loading machine. With a front loader, you'll also save more on clothes drying, because they remove more water from your clothes during the spin cycle. Look for the Energy Star label. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Ease of cleaning is well worth considering at the outset. Stay clean liners resist dirt build-up but pyrolitic cleaning is the ultimate. It burns off all baked-on debris at 500°C so that all you have to do is sweep out the resulting ash. Look out for ovens with a steam cleaning facility, too, and remember that some ovens have removable inner doors that are easy to clean. KitchenAid FT Food Tray Attachment for Stand Mixers Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Stainless Steel Maintenance Wipe away any acid spills such as from vinegar or grapefruit straight away. Never clean the bowl or draining board with an abrasive cleaner. Instead use liquid detergent in warm water and wipe with a soft cloth to remove water drop marks. Care for stainless steel appliance fascias and cabinet fronts in the same way. If choosing stainless steel cabinets, a 'brushed' surface is less likely to show grease from finger marks. |
