Customer Reviews of V150-04 IMPERIA Fettuccine 6
Customer Rating: Summary: Not that great. Comment: I'm not Italian, so I thought that this would make a fluted edge pasta, like actual lasagna noodles are. It just makes flat 1/2" wide pasta noodles. That's ok, just not what I expected. Perhaps there is another name for the one I wanted. Also, mine did not cut cleanly and had to return it. Customer Rating: Summary: Great for Goulash Comment: This attachment makes a noodle of exactly the right width for heavier sauces such as goulash. You'll get a great biceps workout and have delicious fresh pasta for the table! Customer Rating: Summary: Nice Attachment Comment: Perfect for goulash and similar thick stew-like sauces. Very sturdy construction. Customer Rating: Summary: Great addition to the pasta machine Comment: I have been using my pasta machine for years (not very often, time is tight) and I decided to buy some new attachments to widen my repertoir. This was a success and I suggest you do too, if you like to make pasta at home. I think it is a nice "social" activity, if your kitchen is big enough for a friend or two. I just want to add a word of advice: I read in the characteristics that you can hand wash the attachments with soap and water. DON'T DO IT! I don't know if the English instuctions say that, but you are not supposed to wash the machine at all, if you don't want it rust. Just clean it with a brush, or if you really want some alcohol, and, if some dough sticks, wait half an hour. It will dry and come away easily. Customer Rating: Summary: Super Attachment! Comment: I've had a pasta machine for one year, now. This mini lasagna noodle cutter is great! The noodles are wider and my family likes them better than the regular spaghetti size. If you like homemade noodles, buy this attachment. You won't regret it. More Reviews Create fresh, tempting lasagnette (mini-lasagna) noodles with this Italian-made attachment for the Imperia pasta machine. Simply take rolled-out dough and feed it into this stainless-steel attachment. Voila! Fresh, ready-to-cook lasagnette pasta is the reward. Pop it into boiling water--it cooks in a fraction of the time dried pasta does--and top with a favorite sauce, and you're ready to eat. --Meg Heffernan Choosing Appliance -> Baking sheete Not too much romance here, but essential for any functional kitchen. Buy the heaviest pans possible. Also, you should consider buying a non-stick silicon sheet: they make baking very easy! Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! V150-04 IMPERIA Fettuccine 6 Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Natural Granite Maintenance Granite must not be rubbed with abrasive materials instead, wash with clean warm water to which a non-abrasive light neutral detergent (PH7) may be added. Rinse with clean warm water and dry with a chamois leather or similar. Drainer Grooves can be cleaned using wire wool. |
