Customer Rating:  Summary: Based on years of use: Best you can buy Comment: Unlike other reviewers, I will review the actual product. Don't give this amazing tool a bad review just because you were sent a different model. What you're providing is actually a lie, when you think about it... I have used this for over three years, at least 5 times per week. I have never put it in the dishwasher, and I've never had a problem cleaning it out. I don't even use the plastic cleany-thing. It wastes very little garlic. If you overload it, you will squeeze garlic out the top, instead of out the bottom -where it belongs. If you need garlic with little juice, you're stuck mincing with a bladed instrument of some sort, but everything else can be handled by this tool. I had the original Susi for years, and wanted a larger press. I gave the original to my friend when I bought this model, and he's still using it with no problems (I think I bought the original over eight years ago... go, Zyliss). Customer Rating: Summary: Best ever Comment: This is the best garlic press i have ever used. It gets an amazing amount of crushed garlic from the clove, leaving only the outer paper skin. Very easy to use and sturdy. Buy it, you won't be disappointed Customer Rating:  Summary: Amazon Rip-Off Comment: You will never receive the Deluxe version of this garlic press through Amazon. Amazon forwards your order to Target and they send you the Susi II, which does not include the "handy cleaning tool", which is why I chose this garlic press to begin with. When I tried to exchange the Susi II for the Susi Deluxe, all Amazon would offer was my money back. So some time after making the initial order, I have no garlic press at all. Back to the chopping board. A huge disappointment as far as Amazon is considered! This screams false advertisement. Customer Rating: Summary: ZylissSusi DeLuxe Garlic Press Comment: My first garlic press, and a winner! I researched these and think this is the best. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and I use it daily or more! You don't have to peel the garlic before pressing and it will still work just fine. I have arthritis in my hands, and I still have the strength to press the garlic, and it comes out perfect every time. I do find that to keep the holes in the head of the press clean that it helps to run a vegetable brush over the outside. Seems like there is always one piece of garlic that wants to plug a hole. But overall, I'm completely satisfied and won't be without it EVER AGAIN! Regrets? That I didn't buy it sooner! Customer Rating: Summary: Switcheroo Comment: Amazon did not fulfill the order, Target did which was unexpected. When it did arrive it was a Susi 2 which was NOT what I ordered. I was ready to send it back as it lacks the cleaning tool of the Susi 1 , but We decided to try it to see whether we wanted a Susi of any type at all. We use a lot of garlic in Thai and Chinese cooking as well as everyday dishes from Pierre Franey and elsewhere. This machine works well if you leave the skin on . The skin comes right out . This wastes a bit of garlic pulp, but it transfers garlic liquid which usually just soaks in. to the cutting board when you mince garlic. It tastes slightly different than minced My daughter and I are the dishwashers of the family and we use a square toothpick to clean the machine. It takes about thirty seconds max and doesn't waste water. We don't put in the dishwasher . Overall a winner , but no thanks to Amazon or Target for the switch . I could have bought in in the neighborhood for the same price. As to shipping read my review of the Taylor Thermometer -pins and needles before Christmas ! More Reviews The worst part about pressing garlic is peeling it beforehand, but with the Zyliss Susi De Luxe Garlic Press, there's no need. Just put the clove, skin and all, into the nonstick chamber and squeeze the ergonomic handles then watch how the garlic pulp and juice pass through while the peel stays behind. The second worst part about pressing garlic is cleaning the tool afterwards—but that's taken care of, too. A blue plastic cleaning gadget gets into those hard-to-reach spots, and stores securely inside the press when not in use. Dishwasher safe. Gray. Imported. 6Lx2W".

Choosing Appliance -> Dishwashers Check the capacity. 'Standard' 60cm wide dishwashers can take 12, 14 or 16 place settings, whilst slimline 45cm models may cater for 7, 8 or 9 place settings.
