It's great for making egg salad--first cut the egg in wedges, then move it to the slicer and you've got perfectly chopped eggs. It also slices mushrooms well--it works best if you turn them so the wires go through the stem side first. More Reviews Stainless steel wires evenly slice hard-boiled eggs and mushrooms or divide them into six equal segments. Egg piercer safely makes a pinhole in eggs so that they won't crack during boiling. ABS plastic.
