Customer Rating:  Summary: A great kitchen towel! Comment: These towels are great. They wash perfectly, and they don't seem to stain. They're a little pricey, but worth it. More Reviews These bright and cheerful jacquard weave tea towels feature three stripes of embroidered yellow lemons and two of green lemon leaves, with green and white border stripes. With pictures of full lemons, sliced lemons, and curlicued lemon rinds, these towels are an ideal accompaniment when you're serving lemonade. Use them as table centerpieces or oversize napkins. These 20-by-28-inch towels are larger than average. Made of 100 percent cotton, they are easy to care for--just throw them in the washing machine. --Doree Armstrong 
Choosing Appliance -> Salad spinner While some may consider this a bit on the gadgety side, I think it is a must as dressings do not stick to water-logged salad greens. Choosing Appliance -> Strainers We recommend 2 strainers for every kitchen. The first is a solid stainless steel colander (one big enough to wash a lot of lettuce at once). The second strainer is a fine mesh conical strainer (called a chinois) which is a must for any serious sauce or stock making. Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Cleaning & Maintenance Oven Never use a scouring pad of any sort to remove stubborn stains or soiled areas, since these pads scratch the finish and any future soiled areas won't clean up as well, especially with the self-cleaning models. When the oven is cool to the touch, place a cloth or sponge, dampened with warm to hot tap water, onto the soiled area and allow it to sit, for about ten minutes or so, to help loosen the soil. |
