Customer Reviews of Norpro Hand-Operated 2-Speed Salsa Maker and Mini-Food Processor
Customer Rating: Summary: worst product ever Comment: This was the worst product i have ever bought. The blade is dull and the machine was filthy! Customer Rating: Summary: warped in dishwasher Comment: Got this salsa maker less than a year ago. The salsa maker warped in the dishwaher. I have had another salsa makers and it has lasted over 20 years. I would not recommned this machine to anyone and feel that I should be reimbursed. Customer Rating: Summary: Disgusted! Worse purchase ever online!!! Comment: I am disgusted. I thought it was wierd when I took it out of the box that there wasn't any plactic around the box. Then when I opened it up I noticed that none of the parts were wrapped in plastic either. Then as I began to pull it out I noticed that there was dried up food on the blades. Absolutly horrible! Customer Rating: Summary: Don't bother with this product Comment: Save yourself a few dollars and chop up the ingredients yourself. Two speeds? Where? It turned my tomatoes (which I had cut into quarters as recommended) into mush without managing to chop a thing. Customer Rating: Summary: Not the original salsa maker Comment: I previously had one of these and wanted to replace it. This one is similar, except that it is slightly smaller and flat-out does not chop vegetables very well. The fact that it has two speeds makes no difference in that there's no apparent difference between them -- they're both too slow. I now have to go back to looking for the original salsa maker -- which I liked very much. This one is not it. More Reviews The Norpro 2 Speed Salsa Maker and Food Processor provides anda new twist on a perennial favorite. Even though it is hand operated, it does provide true two speed operation. The second speed increases chopping torque dramatically, while the first speed is great for whipping. Includes instructions and a recipe booklet. Choosing Appliance -> Taps If you want a sink with large bowl dimensions to cope with big-pan washing-up, it is worth considering a tap with a pull-out or pull-down spray rinse. This gives you water anywhere you need it around the bowl area. Choosing Appliance -> Grater In our opinion, the old fashioned box graters work the best since they are sturdy and offer several different grating sizes. Norpro Hand-Operated 2-Speed Salsa Maker and Mini-Food Processor Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Heat Rather than cause accidental heat-damage, prevent such damage in the first place:
