Customer Reviews of Emerilware Nonstick Skimmer
Customer Rating: Summary: Great for stir fry Comment: Love this, it turns all the vegetables over, keeps them in the pan. A great tool. Customer Rating: Summary: Don't skimp - get this skimmer! Comment: Actually, I have used this mostly for stir-fry cooking in my non-stick wok. It is just great for turning food over and moving it around in the wok. It has proved very durable over the year that I have owned it. It does a good job at skimming soups, too, as well as fishing pasta out of boiling water. Customer Rating: Summary: I just love it Comment: Over the years of my cooking, I have tried several brands of kitchen utensils, and I just love these. The grips are so much easier to hold on to, and your hands won't slip on the handles either. I also own several of the more expensive non stick pots and pans, and when using these utensils, there hasn't been even so much as a scratch. They are also very sturdy when lifting something that's on the heavy side. Thumbs up on these!! More Reviews If you were asked to design the perfect skimmer you'd want to make sure it was strong, durable, easy and comfortable to use, able to withstand heat and safe for all your cookware. Leave it to Emeril to create just such a skimmer! Choosing Appliance -> Whip / Whisk Many still consider a whip as a "gourmet" piece of kitchen equipment. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is as essential as a kitchen stove and should be in everyone's kitchen. Nothing works better for mixing a multitude of different preparations or for making sauces or gravy. Buy a solid stainless steel whip with moderately stiff wires. Very thin wires are for mixing delicate things like egg whites or whipped cream. Very thick, solid wires are for mixing stiff dough. Choosing Appliance -> Ovens Most avid bakers prefer separate, even-heat double electric ovens. If that describes you - and you have the space - be sure one of the ovens is equipped with a broiler that provides at least 3,000 watts of cooking power. Also look for racks that pull all the way out and lock in place for safe, easy access to the oven. On the inside, a dark interior shows less baked-on grime, while a porcelain interior is easier to clean Emerilware Nonstick Skimmer Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Maximize the efficiency of appliances You can also maximize the efficiency of appliances you already own through regular maintenance and tune-ups and system upgrades. Examples of some things that you can do are:
