Customer Rating: Summary: Great gadget Comment: I used this ravioli rolling pin for the first time last weekend and was surprisingly impressed by how easy and time effective this gadget proved to be. This gadget makes small ravioli and allocates the right amount of filling for each ravioli. Any excess filling between the two layers of pasta spills out of the end, making the ravioli filling process almost fool proof. I will defintiely be making a lot of ravioli with this pin! More Reviews Rapidly compresses the filled dough for final cutting. Homemade filled pasta no one will refuse. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Ease of cleaning is well worth considering at the outset. Stay clean liners resist dirt build-up but pyrolitic cleaning is the ultimate. It burns off all baked-on debris at 500°C so that all you have to do is sweep out the resulting ash. Look out for ovens with a steam cleaning facility, too, and remember that some ovens have removable inner doors that are easy to clean. Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! Ravioli Rolling Pin Useful info -> Hobs Hobs are becoming a style point in modern kitchens, and accordingly available in all colours, stainless steel and interesting designs. Wide hobs, multi-fuels (electric and gas) and five or six ring burners offer flexibility but consider your usage before choosing - If your kitchen accommodates more than one cook at once, position the hob away from the oven, that way you don't get in each other's way. |
