Customer Reviews of KitchenAid Silicone Slotted Spoon, Red
Customer Rating: Summary: A Great Addtion To My KA Silicone Collection Comment: I don't find this item heavy , I find it sturdy ,easy to clean and a product that's not going to need replacing every few months. Another good purchase. Customer Rating: Summary: Top Heavy Comment: Love the color, love the material (silicone), but the spoon falls out of most pots and bowls because the handle is so top heavy. It gets frustrating! Customer Rating: Summary: Poor design Comment: This spoon is poorly designed. The spoon part is too thick to get at the bottom of the pan. It is heavy. The handle is too long and off balance. I would not purchase any more Kitchen Aide Products, Customer Rating: Summary: A bit big Comment: It's a very good spoon but not very realistic for everyday cooking. It's rather "big in the bowl" and cumbersome. Stirring isn't easy because it's such monster. But the quality is there nonetheless and the grip is very good. Customer Rating: Summary: Great spoon! Comment: I bought this spoon after buying several of the KitchenAid utensils and having wonderful success with them. This one is also strong, heat resistant, and useful because of the long handle. It passed the test of taking a large artichoke out of a huge pot of boiling water without bending, losing the artichoke, or getting my arm burned by splashed boiling water. I can't wait to use it for boiling a whole cabbage for stuffed cabbage. I've avoided doing that for years. More Reviews Lifting peaches or tomatoes from a blanching bath or dumplings from a broth, you need a slotted spoon that can take the heat, and here it is. You can even rest this against the edge of the pot and it won't end up with melted burn marks. Durable, good looking, and designed with both function and comfort in mind, this tool coordinates with your red KitchenAid appliances. Choosing Appliance -> Dishwashers Check the capacity. 'Standard' 60cm wide dishwashers can take 12, 14 or 16 place settings, whilst slimline 45cm models may cater for 7, 8 or 9 place settings. Compact dishwashers tend to be 45 cm wide and can be placed on the worktop or built in, depending on the model. They may take 4, 5 or 6 place settings. Choosing Appliance -> KitchenAid Silicone Slotted Spoon, Red Useful info -> Energy-Efficient Appliances When you do have to shop for a new appliance, look for the Energy Star label. Energy Star appliances have been identified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and DOE as being the most energy-efficient products in their classes. They usually exceed minimum federal standards by a substantial amount. |
