Customer Rating: Summary: The best I've found Comment: Trying to produce citrus zest with a grater usually left more zest in the crevices of the grater than on my cutting board and it took forever to get a teaspoon's worth or whatever a recipe called for. Dried zest products were not a viable substitute for the fresh thing. I began to avoid recipes calling for zest. Then along came this zester which I use constantly. Nicely balanced in the hand, works as well on small fruit as it does on large. Holds its edge. You waste nothing, and the strips it produces pile up and are easily minced with your chef's knive to produce the finely grated effect. Also, buy several high quality wooden spoons for stirring delicate dishes like risotto (the sharp edge of a metal spoon would cut or bruise the rice). Choosing Appliance -> Taps If you want a sink with large bowl dimensions to cope with big-pan washing-up, it is worth considering a tap with a pull-out or pull-down spray rinse.
