Comment: This is the carafe I was looking for, same quality as the original Melitta Carafe... by the way, I have the Melitta expresso machine model MEX1B Customer Rating: Summary: It did the trick Comment: It replaced what was broken and came quickly. What more do you want? Some espresso? Well, now I can make some again. Comment: I bought this after clumsily breaking my original pot for my Krups Espresso maker; it's not the exact size, shape as the original but it comes close and works just as well. Glad to have it and in fact I've bought another for back up in case of future blonde moments. More Reviews It's no use crying over a broken carafe. Simply buy a replacement and you're back in the business of making espresso drinks. 
Choosing Appliance -> Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! Krups 027/A-42 Replacement Espresso Carafe
Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Stainless Steel Maintenance Wipe away any acid spills such as from vinegar or grapefruit straight away. Never clean the bowl or draining board with an abrasive cleaner. Instead use liquid detergent in warm water and wipe with a soft cloth to remove water drop marks. Care for stainless steel appliance fascias and cabinet fronts in the same way. If choosing stainless steel cabinets, a 'brushed' surface is less likely to show grease from finger marks. |
