Customer Rating:   Summary: The lid is too hard to get on! Comment: I can't get the lid to go on this shaker. Without the lid, it isn't much use for shaking. I have slight tendonitis in one hand but mostly full use of it and it was far too difficult to get the lid to seat properly. Therefore I won't use it, making it a total waste of money. Customer Rating: Summary: Why is this so expensive? Comment: This product is by far as good as everyone says, however how do you get away with charging $28.99? It only costs $11.00 + s/h + local tax in the current catalogs? Buyer beware... call a local Tupperware dealer and save yourself some money! Customer Rating: Summary: How to make the Top Fit Comment: This is my 2nd favorite Tupperware item. I use it all the time for making gravies, scrambling eggs, making Kool Ade, Mixing pudding, and even as a liquid measuring cup. I've got about 5 of them in my cupboard. O.K. Here is how to get that darn top to go on. Soak the top and bottom in HOT water and let them sit to heat up and become soft. Now take them out and seal every thing up. put it aside and let it cool. The top has now been stretched to fit the bottom and will go on much easier in the future. This technique works for just about all Tupperware plastic products. One important thing to remember is NEVER use warm or hot liquid in the Quickshake because when you shake it up the top blows off (unless you are a practical joker). First of all the lid is so tight it took me like 5 minutes just to get it on, from time i saw that i knew it wasn't going to leak i use it to mix my protein shakes and those little blades help to break all the clumps. Choosing Appliance -> Spatulas Buy a sturdy stainless spatula for general uses and a Teflon spatula for your non-stick pan. In addition, buy a silicon baking spatula for scraping bowls. Silicon is an amazing substance which is heat resistant up to 550 degrees. Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result.
