Customer Reviews of Fiesta 756 Stovetop Salt and Pepper Set
Customer Rating: Summary: Great S&Ps for Kitchen/Cooking Use Comment: These are just right - not too big and not too small. And they're funky and retro and fun. They are intended for kitchen or stovetop use - not table use as one reviewer seemed to think. Having the handles is great when you're cooking and your hands are gloppy. Having to fill them from the bottom, is, of course, less convenient than the stainless steel type that unscrew from the top. But they seem to have improved the rubber stoppers since some of the other reviews written here - unless they're not all the same. Mine are substantial and fit very snugly. They are also a soft rubber and would not be breakable. We'll see ... . Customer Rating: Summary: fiestaware stove top salt and pepper shakers Comment: Product is wonderful. Nice looking easy to use, love the ample handle which makes using easy during cooking. Customer Rating: Summary: Fabulous!! Comment: I love Fiestaware - and I love these!! They are larger than I expected and very charming in a retro way just like Fiestaware. Beautiful. The tangerine color is awesome, not quite as bright as the online images. Customer Rating: Summary: getting salty in my kitchen Comment: Product just as promised - looks great - works wonderful -- a very happy purchase from my end More Reviews Choosing Appliance -> Cooking Pans This is another area where spending money is justified. The best pans combine different metals like aluminum or copper on the outside and stainless steel on the inside. Aluminum and copper are valued for their ability to spread heat evenly over the entire pan, and stainless steel is valued for its non-reactive qualities. Buy pans which are heavy and thick with solid handles that are well fastened to the pot. As with knives, buy the highest quality cooking pans you can afford one at a time, starting with a saute pan and a 3 qt. sauce pan. They will last forever. At some point, a stock pot (which will be especially pricey) should be considered for serious cooking. Choosing Appliance -> Mixer Pretty much the same thoughts as the food processor. High quality mixers are great for making bread or other tough jobs. Every kitchen should have one. Be sure that any mixer has all three attachments: paddle, dough hook, and whip. Also, find a spot on the counter where it can be easily accessed at a moment's notice. Fiesta 756 Stovetop Salt and Pepper Set Kitchen tips -> Lettuce Dry lettuce and other salad greens before adding dressing by tossing a couple of paper towels with the greens in a large bowl. Once the towels have picked up the excess moisture, pull them out and throw them away |
