Customer Reviews of Mikasa Classico Satin 42-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 8
Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty sweet Comment: The style is really nice. I didn't think i'd like all the frost that's on it, but it's nice to keep the fingerprints off. The Mikasa symbol is printed and not stamped or etched so it rubs off. I've lost one of the logos a spoon already, i've owned the set for about a month. I also bent on of the big spoons on some ice cream. I can't image an oneida being any better. Heavy set, good for the price, minor problems. Oh, some of the pieces are scratched from washing as well, they don't keep the luster. Customer Rating: Summary: good quality, nice looking flatware Comment: I purchased Mikasa Classico Satin 42-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 8 for my mother to replace her old set. She loved the style and look of this set. The quality is not hard to notice just by holding in your hand. I am impressed with this product and my mother thinks the world of the set. Customer Rating: Summary: Nice flatware Comment: I really like the style of this flatware. I would have given it 5 stars, but it tends to show spots easier than on other flatware I have had. I use it for everyday. Customer Rating: Summary: Good, functional set Comment: This set looks stylish (contemporary) without being too frilly. Seems to be of good quality construction and no flaws were found out of the box. Customer Rating: Summary: This is my second set and it too is awesome! Comment: Mikasa flatware is so sturdy and beautiful. My first set was 10 years old and never lost it's shine. I only replaced it because i had lost a lot of the pieces. this set is beautiful and the wooden tray is perfect and will fit any kitchen drawer. This is such a good price, don't believe it? go to the mikasa store and price it. I will always and forever ONLY use mikasa flatware More Reviews Service for eight, two serving pieces, and a handsome cherry finish tray to store them all! This stylish set has a lot going for it, with an interesting contrast of sleek polished finish along the edge and a soft matte finish center panel, as well as smoothly flowing, simple lines with interesting detail at the tip. Choosing Appliance -> Energy-Efficient Refrigerators The EnergyGuide label on new refrigerators will tell you how much electricity in kilowatt-hours (kWh) a particular model uses in one year. The smaller the number, the less energy the refrigerator uses and the less it will cost you to operate. In addition to the EnergyGuide label, don't forget to look for the Energy Star label. A new refrigerator with an Energy Star label will save you between $35 and $70 a year compared to the models designed 15 years ago. This adds up to between $525 and $1,050 during the average 15-year life of the unit. Choosing Appliance -> Shopping Washer When shopping for a new washer, look for a front loading (horizontal-axis) machine. This machine may cost more to buy but uses about a third of the energy and less water than a top-loading machine. With a front loader, you'll also save more on clothes drying, because they remove more water from your clothes during the spin cycle. Look for the Energy Star label. Mikasa Classico Satin 42-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 8 Useful info -> Energy-Efficient Appliances When you do have to shop for a new appliance, look for the Energy Star label. Energy Star appliances have been identified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and DOE as being the most energy-efficient products in their classes. They usually exceed minimum federal standards by a substantial amount. |
