Customer Reviews of Pfaltzgraff Cappuccino Salt and Pepper Set
Customer Rating: Rating: 1/5Rating: 1/5Rating: 1/5Rating: 1/5Rating: 1/5
Summary: Looks good but not very useful
Comment: These were a nice addition to my set but I can't get salt or pepper out of either on of them. I think the holes are just too small.

Customer Rating: Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5
Summary: Neutral style
Comment: This set is a nice addition to kitchenware. It adds a contemporary style and is neutral in color to match any decor. A very nice product!!

More Reviews Cappuccino and its creamy froth provide inspiration for the coloration of this subtle pattern. Its unadorned ridged contours reflect the heritage of handcrafted pottery and encourage an aesthetic appreciation of simplicity. An ideal backdrop for a robust meal and lingering conversation.

Choosing Appliance -> Cooking Pans
This is another area where spending money is justified. The best pans combine different metals like aluminum or copper on the outside and stainless steel on the inside. Aluminum and copper are valued for their ability to spread heat evenly over the entire pan, and stainless steel is valued for its non-reactive qualities. Buy pans which are heavy and thick with solid handles that are well fastened to the pot. As with knives, buy the highest quality cooking pans you can afford one at a time, starting with a saute pan and a 3 qt. sauce pan. They will last forever. At some point, a stock pot (which will be especially pricey) should be considered for serious cooking.
Choosing Appliance -> Ladles
Look for ladles that are made of one piece of stainless steel rather than a handle and dome which are spot welded together. With use, spot welded ladles tend to come apart. Buy several differnet sizes.

Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Hob and grill cooking
Modern appliances reach higher temperatures quicker - and often hold heat longer. To avoid worktop damage, follow both the appliance manufacturers instructions and these rules:
  • Always use the correct size of pan for the burner, placed centrally. An overhanging pan can scorch surrounding surfaces. Don't use two burners as one (e.g. for a large griddle) - it has the same effect.
  • To reduce heat, turn the burner down instead of pulling the utensil partially off the heat source.
