Summary: Excellent Product
Comment: For keeping champagne fresh and sparkling and chilled, this stopper is just the ticket. I've had an open bottle laying on its side in the refrigerator for over a month now and it still as fresh as the day I opened it.

Summary: Great concept but hard to fit
Comment: The pour-through feature is what tempted us to try it, but the difficult fit makes it a hard sell at list price. Works great-- when it works. The locking collar is difficult to slide down on most all bottles we tried (about five brands so far) and would not fit one of them at all. One seemed to seal but the top would pop off if pushed sideways at all. Nice try, but back to the drawing board!

Summary: Very Disappointed
Comment: As with the first review I read--unfortunately after having bought the product--the device will NOT slide down onto the neck of our bottles.

The concept sounds great but, if my favorite bottles of champagne won't accept the device, it really does me no good.

Looks like I'll have to find another way to keep my champagne fresh.

Summary: I couldn't make it work.
Comment: While one of the other reviewers states that it only works on some types of champagne bottles, I couldn't get it to work at all. I tried it on two different shapes of bottles, but to no avail. The problem is that the ring that is supposed to slide down the neck to secure the stopper doesn't slide when it's on the bottle. When off the bottle, the mechanism works fine. It appears to me that the stopper must be made for a specific bottle and not for most champagne bottles in general. At least that was my experience. I found a good $3.00 stopper at Sur la Table that works just fine and is not dependent on the shape of the champagne bottle. It doesn't have the fancy pour spout, but at least it keeps the bubbles in the champagne.

Summary: It Works Well on Most Bottles !
Comment: When fitted tightly and sealed, this saver works very well indeed. It does not work on all bottle necks, however, such as the longer, more narrow bottle necks. Still, I'm satisfied enough to buy it again because it works so well on most of the champagnes that we buy.
