Customer Reviews of Rösle Cheese Plane
Customer Rating: Summary: TOP-NOTCH CHEESE PLANE - THAT'S PLAIN TO SEE! Comment: Made in Germany this 9" stainless steel cheese plane is both handsome and utilitarian. We've had great good fortune slicing Cheddar, Parmesan, and other hard cheeses. The plane is certainly sturdy and light enough to be easily used. A handle, approximately 4" long and 1/2" in diameter, fits nicely into the palm of your hand. It comes from the dishwasher looking shiny new, and has a handy hanging loop at the tip of the handle. More Reviews It's easy to get thin slices with the 9.25-in. Cheese Slicer by Rosle. Sturdy stainless steel construction features a stable wedge/blade surface. Sharp cutting edge works well with medium-hard and hard cheeses, such as Cheddar, Parmesan and Romano. Comfortable, watertight handle has a convenient hanging loop. Choosing Appliance -> Non-stick Pans We recommend having at least 1 high quality non-stick saute pan. It makes cooking eggs and delicate items like fish a breeze. It also cuts down on the amount of fat necessary to effectively saute. The best place to buy such pans is from a restaurant supplier. Choosing Appliance -> Dishwasher Choose a dishwasher with sturdy compression springs in the door. Also look for tough, lightweight nylon or graphite racks with cushioned tips that protect glassware and cookware. Weimer recommends choosing a model with a rack design that provides the largest, most flexible interior space and is configured for your belongings, including odd-shaped pieces. Rösle Cheese Plane Kitchen tips -> Frozen fish Thaw frozen fish in milk to help remove the frozen taste and provide for a fresh fish flavor |
