Summary: T-Fal and cleaning
Comment: I love this set, truly nothing sticks to it EXCEPT whatever juices burns around the metal surface or bottom of the pan duing a spill over, this is the part that is not "non-stick" leaving my pots looking cheap and really really used! Still don't know how to get it off with out stratching the pots!

Summary: Great Cookware
Comment: Absolutely love this set. I had bought this set after purchasing a really horrible set of Phillipe Richard cookware. I cook every day several times a day and ALL of the pans still look brand new. As long as you follow care instructions and don't abuse them by using metal utensils they will last a long time.

Summary: Cooking w/ T-Fal
Comment: I have been using T-Fal cookware for over 30 yrs now. The last set I had lasted me over 10 yrs, and then I passed them on to my ex-husband. Now, I have purchased this new set a month ago, which has glass lids! It is a different experience than when I cooked w/ the old set (metal lids w/ the steam hole on top, that you either left open, or could shut it). But, I must say that after my first meal prepared in the new pots, I learned how not to cook my rice. I had to add more water, but after that, voila! I love my new T-Fal cookware set! Not to mention that the price was definitely a steal. I got them on sale, for under $50 on Amazon.
Happy cooking to you all w/ T-Fal!
~Sandy

Summary: Misleading photo and description
Comment: I'm am very mad at Amazon concerning this product. I purchased it expecting the product description to accurately depict the set. It stated then, and now: Domed stainless-steel lids with adjustable knobs to vent steam. The picture seemed to show glass lids. When I received my set, the box had printed on it that it was a replacement for the set I wanted- and the pots had glass lids. I rightfully complained and was financially compensated a little because of the difficulty it would have been to repack everything and take it to someplace to return to Amazon. It was heavy, too. All I wanted was for Amazon to correct the item description.
I sent in a correction request to them, which is available on the listing page, and talked to a supervisor when I complained. They said it would be corrected. Now I get a request to share my opinion and I see nothing has been done in a month. You should get what you ordered. I really wanted stainless steel lids because of my age, in case I dropped the glass lids. I didn't want to drive anywhere carrying a large, heavy box and just get a full refund and not the set I ordered. Bad cust. service from Amazon! I'm angry at Amazon every time I use my pots.

Summary: Easy to Clean
Comment: These live up to their name - very easy to clean... They're quite impressive that way...The largest pot takes FOREVER to get water to boil, though...I ended up switching pots back to my old one when it was about 25 minutes later and I noticed the water still wasn't boiling, yet...Oh, and if you stack your pans in the cabinet (which I do - I don't have a gigantic kitchen where I can lay out each pot and pan separately), the bottoms tend to get scratched up pretty easily......But other than that, they're worth the price...

Choosing Appliance -> Baking sheete
Not too much romance here, but essential for any functional kitchen. Buy the heaviest pans possible. Also, you should consider buying a non-stick silicon sheet: they make baking very easy!
Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens
The standard 60cm oven has been joined by various other sizes. Now consumers can choose from 60,70 and 90cm wide built-in single ovens. Always check the internal capacity shown in litres as well as the external dimensions.

Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Maintain Electrical Safely
The insulation on electrical cords can become damaged by wear, flexing, or age. Do not use any cord that is stiff or cracked. Some clues that you may have an electrical problem are:
  • Flickering lights. If the lights dim every time you turn on an appliance that circuit is overloaded or has a loose connection.
  • Sparks. If sparks appear when you insert or remove a plug, they could be a sign of loose connections.
  • Warm electrical cord. If an electrical cord is warm to the touch, the cord is underrated or defective.
  • Frequent blown fuses or broken circuits. A fuse or circuit breaker that keeps tripping is an important warning sign of problems.
  • Frequent bulb burnout. A light bulb that burns out frequently is a sign that the bulb is too high a wattage for the fixture.
