My sister, who cooks for her five adult children loved it so much I gave it to her (I'm a softy). Anyway, I have ordered myself a second one and look forward to using it. HHUUUMMMMMMMMM, maybe my son and daughter-in-law should have one?! Customer Rating: Summary: Calphalon 12" Everyday Pan Comment: The pan is very versatile, however, when coking, food tends to stick to the pan more than I had anticipated. The cleanup process usually needs to soak the pan and use a non-abrasive pad. Customer Rating: Summary: A Stir Fry Junky's Delight Comment: I basically only eat veggies and rice. I love stir fry with a passion and I always find myself making that, fried rice, and plenty of other things. But my pan wasn't made for that kind of stuff, so it drops out everywhere and burns everything. It was frustrating and I hated it so I decided to get this pretty cool looking pan. I didn't even know that it was going to work, but what the heck, it looked like it would. It doesn't spill or burn, my stir fry comes out perfectly. I've used this day in and day out and I love it. Choosing Appliance -> Convection Ovens Convection ovens allow you to bake more foods (cookies, muffins, etc.) at once with even browning, but without the need to shift and rotate pans. A convection oven is the same as a conventional oven except a fan is installed in the back interior of the oven. The fan is used to blow and force the heat to circulate in the oven and around the food, thus eliminating the need to rotate and shift pans. In reality, though, even with the most expensive convection ovens, you will still need to rotate your foods, because there will always exist still hot spots in the cavity, because the cavity is small. Don't compare home convection ovens with most commercial convection ovens used by bakers and small food manufacturers, because their commercial ovens are much larger than home ovens and commercial ovens don't have any hot spots and therefore, there's no need to shift and rotate pans. Choosing Appliance -> Grater In our opinion, the old fashioned box graters work the best since they are sturdy and offer several different grating sizes. Make sure that all wood mouldings such as doors, architraves and skirting boards are adequately painted before decorating. Ceilings too should be completed. Protect cabinets, appliances and floor coverings from paint or paste drips. You may want to unscrew wall cupboard mounted cornice to facilitate decoration. Don't put too much paste on your paper as it can become very soggy and tear rather than cut. Let the paste soak in for the recommended time and use top quality scissors and a craft knife with a ready supply of new blades for a sharp cut. Borders hide ragged edges at the ceiling. You will be so proud of your work when you have finished. |
