Customer Reviews of Holmes HACP9 Oscilllating Clip Fan
Customer Rating: Summary: clip on fan Comment: Puts off a good amount of wind for the size. Goes back and forth or stays stationary .So far so good. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Aquarium cooler Comment: Keeps the thermometer on my nano reef in the green. Its cheaper than the solutions offered by aquarium suppliers too. Customer Rating: Summary: "Fey" fan here ! Comment: A little pricey, a little late on delivery, and not easy to use in our bathroom. Customer Rating: Summary: Fan is quiet but not powerful enough Comment: For a clip on fan this isn't a bad choice. It has an extremely sturdy clip however the motor isn't powerful enough. Maybe for a clip on fan this is the best they could do without making it obnoxiously loud. Customer Rating: Summary: Ok for the price...disposable fan Comment: I had this fan for about a year, using it every day at my desk. It was nice because I could clip it to my bookcase and have the breeze right near my face. It worked fine during that time and I was happy with its performance and output. After a year it started getting temperamental. It would not turn on when I operated the switch, at either speed, unless I jiggled the switch around for a bit, then it would come on. I got tired of messing with that, so then I just left it on 24/7. It worked for a few more weeks and then suddenly died. I tossed it, and got a different fan. The reason that I give 3 stars is that it worked ok for a year, and it's been my experience that these cheapo fans only last about that long anyway before they burn out. So if you consider this to be a disposable fan that will work for about a year, I suppose the price is about right. I have a coworker who has had one of these for years (although she doesn't have it on EVERY day like I did) and it has worked fine for years. So who knows? More Reviews Holmes Clip-On Oscillating Fan - Perfect for the office, this clip-on oscillating fan can attach to a shelf, desk, or cubicle wall. The rubber grip clip keeps it in place while it cools you all day long. Choosing Appliance -> Mixer Pretty much the same thoughts as the food processor. High quality mixers are great for making bread or other tough jobs. Every kitchen should have one. Be sure that any mixer has all three attachments: paddle, dough hook, and whip. Also, find a spot on the counter where it can be easily accessed at a moment's notice. Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! Holmes HACP9 Oscilllating Clip Fan Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Maintain Electrical Safely The insulation on electrical cords can become damaged by wear, flexing, or age. Do not use any cord that is stiff or cracked. Some clues that you may have an electrical problem are:
