Summary: No problems here!
Comment: I have this model toaster oven, one big draw was the price (34.00) and another was the nice size. DH grumbled the whole drive home about what a waste of money this was and how it was going to get no use, and he has since been caught using this little apparatus on the sly LOL!

I have two little toddlers and making chicken fingers and tater tots is an absolute breeze - and I can acutally make enough for all of us. We just had popcorn shrimp tonite and it was very nice. Our gas oven sometimes dries things out as they bake but no problems with this little gem. Took only 15 minutes from the time I set the temp till I had nice steaming hot shrimp.:)

You have to read the instruction manual carefully to see how to set the timer (if you want less than 20 minutes you have to go past 20, then back to the time you want), there is a toast setting on mine and there are directions as to how to set that feature.

I don't think I am going to need my toaster anymore and my microwave might be going the way of the dodo after this purchase as well.

Can't wait to try it out on baking bread - it fits my standard loaf pan nicely. I also plan to get an extra rack and baking pan for it to increase capacity.

Overall, I am happy and glad I resisted the temptation to purchase the 17 dollar cheapie. 5 stars until is proves it deserves less!

Summary: Toasting is a hastle
Comment: To toast, you turn a dial to turn it on and never know just how "done" it's going to get. They should have made it like a regular toaster where you can set the darkness with a dial, and just push a switch to start toasting. I bought this as a gift, and was embarrassed by it being to cumbersome.

Summary: Not as bad as others have said, but still...
Comment: I've owned a number of toaster ovens, and I'd rate this one as average. Frankly, I would prefer to buy a pop-up toaster, but I often toast bread that is longer or thicker than any toaster can handle.

I think the problems with burnt toast that some of the reviewers of this model have mentioned may have occurred because neither of the two available rack grooves is centered. You therefore have to figure out how to position the racks: I found if you use the bottom groove for toasting and flip the rack upside down (for a little bit of added height), bread will toast decently. I haven't experienced any of the electrical malfunctions that other reviewers have, but then again I've only been using this toaster for about a week. And I haven't found the exterior to get noticeably hotter than other toaster ovens I've owned (e.g., Black & Decker, DeLonghi).

I agree, though, that the oven is extremely slow to heat up and that the expansive dial setup is ridiculous. For toasting purposes, you only have to turn the timer about 1/20th of its entire circumference (you read that correctly - one twentieth!), and as a result of this microscopic detail I have been unable to isolate a standard toasting point on the dial. And the unit does take up a lot of counter space, more than I think is warranted for its capacity. It appears the emphasis in the design was certainly more on the "oven" than on the "toaster." So the unit does not appear to have been conceived with people like me in mind, people who use these devices primarily as a toaster and only occasionally as an oven.

Also, despite what I said above, be prepared to find that the toasting will be somewhat uneven - but that's a problem I've seen on virtually all toaster ovens. I've noticed that the top heaters on this device start up faster than the bottom ones, which either accounts for the slight toasting discrepancy or, quite the opposite, is the manufacturer's attempt to more evenly distribute the heat. Honestly, though, its hard to find a toaster oven at this price ($39.99 at Costco) that toasts perfectly, because the elements generally cannot adjust for different bread thicknesses. If you want perfectly homogeneous toast, a standard pop-up toaster will always be a much better bet than ANY toaster oven.

All in all, this is a pretty good oven and only a fair toaster, but I haven't seen better at this price.

Summary: Stay far away
Comment: This not a "toaster", its an oven. This thing is a complete piece of garbage. It is impossible to not burn toast to a blackened lump of coal unless you stand right in front of it and monitor the entire process. Once you figure out where to place the timer, it is impossible to get it back to that exact point given its poorly thought-out design. Get something with a static thermostat.

Summary: Scary
Comment: When used on the toast function according to the manual, the outside of the toaster got extremely hot after running for about five minutes. I mean really hot. The Black & Decker that we have gets warm on the outside, but it doesn't get hot.

Perhaps this one is defective, but it's completely unacceptable. I can't believe they put this on the market.

Choosing Appliance -> Taps
Dual-flow mixers provide independent hot, cold or mixed water after leaving the end of the spout. They can be deck-mounted on the sink or pillar/bridge-mounted for a more traditional look. Alternatively, choose a monobloc tap, which is a single-hole fitting that usually has two handles for hot and cold water supply.
Choosing Appliance -> Range Cookers
The way you cook is also key to deciding which type of range cooker to choose. No-frills heat storage ranges such as Agas retain heat they have gradually built up and generally have two ovens without temperature controls - the hot oven is for roasting and baking, the cool one for slow cooking/keeping warm.

Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Stainless Steel Maintenance
Wipe away any acid spills such as from vinegar or grapefruit straight away. Never clean the bowl or draining board with an abrasive cleaner. Instead use liquid detergent in warm water and wipe with a soft cloth to remove water drop marks. Care for stainless steel appliance fascias and cabinet fronts in the same way. If choosing stainless steel cabinets, a 'brushed' surface is less likely to show grease from finger marks.
