Customer Rating:  Summary: Grinding spices Comment: Purchased this grinder to grind onion flakes into onion powder. This grinder works very well for this purpose. Quality product, good price Customer Rating: Summary: For the Money.........it's Money Comment: Let's face it for the low price this toastmaster grinder is sold at it does the job and then some. The coffee I grind is ground down quickly and efficiently and with less noise than I expected from coffee beans being ground to a pulp. The only con (as with most coffee grinders) is that if coffee finds its way between the body and the lid it will eventually end up on your counter. Customer Rating: Summary: works good but a few issues Comment: This grinder is really good for the money. My two complaints are that it is difficult to clean since you cannot take the blade or the part that holds the coffee grinds out of the device, and that it does not grind extremely fine. The fineness of the coffee grinds does not seem to impact the flavor, however. I would recommend this product to anyone who grinds coffee occasionally. For long term use, I'd imagine the cleaning would become annoying. Customer Rating: Summary: Good appliance Comment: This machine has worked really well for everything I've used it for so far. That includes flax, walnuts, almonds and sunflower seeds. Sometimes it leaves a few seeds unground, and I have to shake the machine a little to get them down where they get ground, but it's no biggie. I'd recommend it! More Reviews Stainless steel blades. Easy access cord storage. Great for making flavored coffees. 2-ounce capactiy for 12 cups of coffee. 
Choosing Appliance -> Stainless steel bowls These are the best all purpose bowls for a multitude of applications. Choose a wide range of sizes (be sure to get a large bowl for whipping egg whites and whipped cream). In general, the heavier the bowl, the higher quality. Choosing Appliance -> Baking sheete Not too much romance here, but essential for any functional kitchen. Buy the heaviest pans possible. Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Stainless Steel Maintenance Wipe away any acid spills such as from vinegar or grapefruit straight away. Never clean the bowl or draining board with an abrasive cleaner. Instead use liquid detergent in warm water and wipe with a soft cloth to remove water drop marks. Care for stainless steel appliance fascias and cabinet fronts in the same way. If choosing stainless steel cabinets, a 'brushed' surface is less likely to show grease from finger marks. |
