Customer Reviews of Oster 6646 Osterizer 12-Speed Blender with Glass Jar and Food Processor, White
Customer Rating: Summary: Bad, bad, bad Comment: I bought this from WalMart. I was using it to make baby food, and it burned up the FIRST time I used it. My house stinks like burning plastic. I am avoiding this brand, because I bought this one to replace my last Oster that burned up. I'm never buying this brand again! Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointed Comment: I find it very difficult to lock both the processor and the blender into place. Customer Rating: Summary: Double ITEM Comment: I love the mini processer. The glass blender is very heavy and the base is heavy and difficult for arthritic hands. However, the power and stability are very good. Wish they had contored it for easier grip. Customer Rating: Summary: Blender Comment: The blender had a nice look about it and I liked the extras that came with it. And it was here in no time after I had ordered it. Virginia Customer Rating: Summary: Osterizer Blender/Food Processor A Hit! Comment: The blender was a Christmas gift for my son. He loves to cook, but lacked some of the essential tools for some of the dishes he wished to create. The blender/food processor has opened a whole new world for him. He is delighted with this product's performance and rates it a solid 5! Thank you!! More Reviews The performance and quality of Oster kitchenware has long inspired home cooks to make cooking and entertaining more a pleasure than a chore. This Oster blender has a powerful 450-watt Osterizer motor so it can do double duty as a food processor. With a pulse option. It comes complete with a 6-cup, break-resistant plastic jar and an interior stainless steel blade. Its easy-clean feature and handy cord storage make it a welcome addition to your functional kitchen. Model 6646. Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result. You can save around 500 hours a year so it is worth thinking about. If you have a small kitchen or live alone, choose a slimline model. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Ease of cleaning is well worth considering at the outset. Stay clean liners resist dirt build-up but pyrolitic cleaning is the ultimate. It burns off all baked-on debris at 500°C so that all you have to do is sweep out the resulting ash. Look out for ovens with a steam cleaning facility, too, and remember that some ovens have removable inner doors that are easy to clean. Oster 6646 Osterizer 12-Speed Blender with Glass Jar and Food Processor, White Useful info -> Self-Cleaning Ovens Store measuring cups, mixing bowls and other items used together in the same place. Duplicate frequently used items like cutting boards, knives and dish towels in each work area. Keep two containers - one at the baking center, the other at the range - for wooden spoons, spatulas and other cooking basics. And try to store every item at its first point of use. Keep the saute pan near the range, and stow pasta pots near the sink. |
