Customer Reviews of iSi 10-Pack Soda Chargers, Gold
Customer Rating: Summary: Soda Chargers Comment: Chargers worked but the end product was not very bubbly. I am not sure weather it is the charger or the proceedure. The instructions did not give a help section. Customer Rating: Summary: iSi 10-pack soda chargers -- gold Comment: it was what we ordered but VERY poorly packaged, many of the chargers came out of their boxes in shipping, and were ruined subsequently. the people that ship these cartridges should package their goods better, i.e., with bubble rap or those plastic pouches, not with plain old brown paper. Customer Rating: Summary: I love it! Comment: It is so convenient to have the seltzer maker and the chargers. I can have seltzer anytime and I don't have to worry about recycling soda bottles. That's good for the environment. Customer Rating: Summary: I disagree with a few reviews Comment: I'm slightly perplexed by the reviews which state the following: you don't get a litre of soda water (actually, that is true; you get nearly 2 ounces fewer than in a litre); I didn't know I could use this cartridge only once (how did you think that you could use a punctured, once-pressurized cO2 cartridge more than once???); with the shipping charge, it makes it more expensive than club soda (I guess the reviewer doesn't life in California, where club soda costs 1.79 a *plastic* bottle. Also, club soda has sodium in it--bad for you. It's smart to buy these cartridges 10 boxes at a time--that's what we do. It's quite cost effective). the soda water is flat (that's often true, if the water isn't yet chilled. Once chilled, it's *very* bubbly). Customer Rating: Summary: Don't Buy these! Comment: Don't buy these! You can only fill the siphon 3/4 full of water with these chargers, or the siphon will spray water everywhere when you attemt to charge it. So you only get 3/4 of a liter of soda per cartridge, instead of the full liter you're supposed to get. Also, the soda produced is very flat, and customer service for this product does not respond after repeated attempts to contact. Purchase the Leland 8g soda gas instead, it seems to produce more bubbles an the siphon won't spray unexpectedly, no matter how full you fill it. More Reviews If you have an iSi soda siphon, by all means keep a stock of CO2 chargers on hand. Due to the nature of this item we are not allowed to ship it by air. Therefore we regret we are unable to ship this item Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or to any destination outside the 48 contiguous United States. Choosing Appliance -> Mixer Pretty much the same thoughts as the food processor. High quality mixers are great for making bread or other tough jobs. Every kitchen should have one. Be sure that any mixer has all three attachments: paddle, dough hook, and whip. Also, find a spot on the counter where it can be easily accessed at a moment's notice. Choosing Appliance -> Spoons Buy stainless spoons (both slotted and non-slotted) which are solid and won't bend no matter how tough the job. Also, buy several high quality wooden spoons for stirring delicate dishes like risotto (the sharp edge of a metal spoon would cut or bruise the rice). iSi 10-Pack Soda Chargers, Gold Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Granite Care Materials NOT to be used on Granite:
