Customer Reviews of KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials Hard Anodized Nonstick 8-Inch Open French Skillet
Customer Rating: Summary: Some Hits, but mostly misses Comment: This pan is heavy and well made. The non-stick surface seems like a quality finish. However, I am disappointed with it. It is 8-l/2" wide from top rim to rim. But it is only about 6" wide on the usable suface bottom. The way it is designed gives very little actual cooking space, unless you expect the sides to do a lot of your cooking. Buy it for it's good looks and quality workmanship, but not for a versatile cooking instrument. Customer Rating: Summary: Loves cooking Comment: Professional quality skillet that is not too heavy and perfectly balanced in weight. Would recommend to all who want a great skillet. Customer Rating: Summary: Nice Pan. Comment: This pan work very well. Nothing sticks to it and it is very easy to clean. Comfortable cool-grip handles feature an 18/10 stainless steel shaft encased in soft silicone rubber. Some of the cookware also come with break-resistant glass lids: these are dome-shaped lids which shut tightly to secure all the moisture, nutrients and flavor. Handwash with mild dish soap. Choosing Appliance -> Dishwashers Look for models with adjustable baskets and flexible internal layouts for varying load requirements. For example, a tilting upper basket allows large 30cm diameter plates in the lower basket and extra flaps can be raised or lowered to cater for small items or large pans. Choosing Appliance -> Grater In our opinion, the old fashioned box graters work the best since they are sturdy and offer several different grating sizes. KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials Hard Anodized Nonstick 8-Inch Open French Skillet Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Stainless Steel Maintenance Wipe away any acid spills such as from vinegar or grapefruit straight away. Never clean the bowl or draining board with an abrasive cleaner. Instead use liquid detergent in warm water and wipe with a soft cloth to remove water drop marks. Care for stainless steel appliance fascias and cabinet fronts in the same way. If choosing stainless steel cabinets, a 'brushed' surface is less likely to show grease from finger marks. |
