One thing I want to point out on these is that the prongs are one solid piece. With hubbie's old pair, the tips of the prongs were a second piece and they eventually broke off. More Reviews Perfect for thin cuts of meat, fish, and poultry, the CDN DBBQ212 Digital BBQ Fork Thermometer can hold up to 8 pounds on its 2.75" stainless steel tines. The big digit display can easily be read outside on the barbecue. Features heat-resistant construction, a sure grip handle and a temperature guide on the handle. Thermometer turns itself off automatically after 10 minutes. And don't forget the loop for hanging. Made of shatterproof ABS plastic. Battery (one 1.5V AAA IEC LR03 Alkaline) and instructions included. 5 year limited warranty.
