Customer Rating:   Summary: Good value, accurate, easy to use. Comment: This scale has been working reliably for us as a food scale and as a postal scale. Advantages include 2g gradations up to 1000g for accurate measuring of small quantities (5g to 5000g), additive measuring reduces the number of containers we use when cooking, compact and flat size tucks away easily and the ability to switch between metric & imperial on the fly when using bizarre recipies. This one also has the bonus food bowl. Accuracy seems to be spot-on when testing the scale below 1kg. The disadvantages are if you want to weigh large flat items, where you won't be able to see the display or if you need to weigh above 5000g. Customer Rating: Summary: Just Cannot Get This One Right! Comment: The first unit I ordered arrived with a dead battery. A complete replacement was sent; however, I just discovered this weekend that it is not measuring accurately. I have tried to tare (zero) the unit, etc. to no avail. One pound shows up as 9.9 ounces (280 grams). Although the weight is the same each time, it is still way off. An additive weighing function reports changes in weight as you continue to add ingredients to the scale. The Cina measures up to 11 pounds or 5 kilograms of ingredients in its 2-1/2-liter plastic bowl. Ideal for measuring liquids, the bowl has a easy-to-grip handles and a splashguard with a hole in the center for adding ingredients. A nonslip rubber base keeps the bowl from sliding off the scale and both the bowl and detachable splashguard are dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup.
