I think I could have done better for the money Customer Rating: Summary: Very good scale but different model from advertised version Comment: The scale I received from Amazon looks the same as the picture for the "Soehnle Vera White Digital Food Scale" but it's a different model. The one I received uses the CR-2430 lithium battery, not four AAs as advertised. Also, the product manual is different. The actual manual's title is "67000 - 67007 g/oz," not "8122/8123 g/oz." On the bottom of the scale, there is a number similar to Soehnle's product numbers, 812215. But I could not find such a product anywhere. Fortunately, the maximum weight capacity of this scale is 5000g as advertised. It's actually about 5280g. The unit of measure is in 1g or 0.05oz increments. Weighing items with this scale is very easy. The LCD screen has large 0.5" numbers. It has a 2-minute auto shut-off switch, and a supposedly low-battery indication. Overall, this is a very good scale and I recommend it if you're willing to put up with purchasing a lithium battery once in a while. Customer Rating: Summary: I couldn't WEIGHT to use it... Comment: This is a great scale. I got mine (a weird yellow color) without a box at Williams-Sonoma for half price, but even at full price it's great. Large numbers for easy reading and a flat top to accomodate weirdly-shaped items. You'll find yourself weighing everything because it's just so darned easy!
