Customer Rating:   Summary: Never received the order Comment: This was a major disappointment after reading such grand reviews. I'm sure the glasses are great, but the supplier - Target- really is horrible. After waiting three weeks, I discovered through tracking that my order was across the country and delivered to another place. Upon calling Customer service at Target, they informed me that it had been damaged and they would just issue a refund. But they never bothered to contact me - even with an email and a phone number. No more Target for me. Now, I'll have to start all over. Customer Rating: Summary: Fun glasses Comment: I needed a large set of bigger glasses to have on hand for family get togethers. These are fun, practical, and make any beverage look good. I liked them so much I bought a second set for my sister-in-law to use for her smoothies. Customer Rating: Summary: Official Goblet of the PCA (Lambda Phi Epsilon Certified) Comment: These Goblets are second to none. Professionally crafted to withstand accidental n00b/girl drunken knock overs. However, breaking may occur during the most extreme Cookie Monster situations. The beautiful sound it makes whenever a bink or a splash occurs is comparable only to the voice of Celine Dion. The size is perfect for 12 oz Natural Lites and leaves just enough room for the sloppy pourers who manifest foam at the top. Even if you are on the losing team, these goblets are so fashion friendly that slow drinkers can hang onto them while they chat it up with friends....until the next game. Also recommended: - 24 pack of Natural Lites - 6 pack of New Castle (For the Bottle Caps -Perfect weight and aerodynamics) - Measuring Tape (8 Feet is recommended distance of the PCA) - 2 Plastic Trays (Borrow from McDonalds, Taco Bell, any fine fast food establishments) - 2 Shot Glasses (In case a skunk occurs) Customer Rating: Summary: Best Goblets, EVER. Comment: I have been using these goblets since the Fall of 2002. Their performance is beyond industry standards. They are very sturdy and create an exquiste sound when a bottle cap bounces off the rim. The wide mouth design and capacity for 17-ounces of pure enjoyment; enables customers to consume a larger amount of liquids than other goblets on the market. Other known advantages: Dishwasher safe. More Reviews Iced tea and lemonade simply taste better (or so it seems) when served in these classic Gibraltar Iced Tea glasses from Libbey. Durable glass construction will last for years and years. Choosing Appliance -> Ladles Look for ladles that are made of one piece of stainless steel rather than a handle and dome which are spot welded together. With use, spot welded ladles tend to come apart. Buy several differnet sizes. Choosing Appliance -> Cooking Pans This is another area where spending money is justified. The best pans combine different metals like aluminum or copper on the outside and stainless steel on the inside. Aluminum and copper are valued for their ability to spread heat evenly over the entire pan, and stainless steel is valued for its non-reactive qualities. Buy pans which are heavy and thick with solid handles that are well fastened to the pot. As with knives, buy the highest quality cooking pans you can afford one at a time, starting with a saute pan and a 3 qt. sauce pan. They will last forever.
