Customer Reviews of Girmi GT13 Cheese Grater
Customer Rating: Summary: Good and bad! Comment: I usually dont rate reviews for products unless something exceptional good or bad comes my way. This product is a so so! PROS: 1. It does what it says though... 2. It is rather small in size and easy to store. CONS: 1. It grates cheese VERY slowly. (Main function) 2. It is not the easiest on the world to clean. Overall for a prime price I would expect a "peachy" product that is easy to use and works exceptionally well. I have since gone back to the handheld grater that works in a fraction of the time that the electrical takes and it is much much easier to clean! Customer Rating: Summary: Handy Dandy Grater Comment: I ordered this grater, on the recommendation of another user. I love it. The "grate" is fine, which my family loves for pasta and pizza dishes. It's not bad to clean, and I don't get hurt using it! It worked well on dark chocolate too! Customer Rating: Summary: Liked it so much I bought another Comment: I bought the Cheese Grater for a xmas gift. I liked it so much I ended up buying one for myself. We already have the manual grater but this is so much cooler. What a great price as well. Easy enough to clean, pretty simple to use. I'd recommend buying one. I bought the gift for my sister.... she's loves her grater too! More Reviews Choosing Appliance -> Dishwasher Choose a dishwasher with sturdy compression springs in the door. Also look for tough, lightweight nylon or graphite racks with cushioned tips that protect glassware and cookware. Weimer recommends choosing a model with a rack design that provides the largest, most flexible interior space and is configured for your belongings, including odd-shaped pieces. Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! Girmi GT13 Cheese Grater Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Cleaning & Maintenance Oven Never use a scouring pad of any sort to remove stubborn stains or soiled areas, since these pads scratch the finish and any future soiled areas won't clean up as well, especially with the self-cleaning models. When the oven is cool to the touch, place a cloth or sponge, dampened with warm to hot tap water, onto the soiled area and allow it to sit, for about ten minutes or so, to help loosen the soil. |
