Customer Reviews of Metrokane Velvet Champagne and Wine Sealer
Customer Rating: Summary: Pop my cork! Comment: This works so well on wine you can hear the seal break when you re-open your wine bottle. I spotted this on clearance at Kohl's and bought two more. I can't speak on this with Champagne, How ever it does keep my wine fresh, and tasting like a fresh bottle of open wine. I was skeptical about this product so this is a nice surprise. Customer Rating: Summary: best one I've tried Comment: I've tried all the different wine and champagne stoppers, and this one is the best. It takes an extra minute to apply and remove, so if you're opening the bottle frequently, it's not as convenient. However, if you want your champagne to keep its fizz for several days or weeks, this one's perfect. Customer Rating: Summary: Not durable Comment: Bought a set of two. They lasted two months before the mechanism went bad and no longer sealed the bottle. Customer Rating: Summary: Does not work well with champagne Comment: I purchased this specifically to extend the drinking time for champagne. Luckily the first bottle I used was fairly inexpensive. After 24 hrs there was barely any fizz left. I guess I will keep looking for a viable solution. Customer Rating: Summary: Keep It Fresh Comment: I found this product locally and then went back to purchase 4 more and they no longer carried them. What a great loss! It took me awhile to find them on Amazon com and I am glad. If you need to keep anything liquid in a bottle fresh, whether it be beer, cold drinks, wine, champagne, etc, this product will do it. Lay the bottles down! They will not leak! More Reviews Place this gizmo over the neck of the bottle and twist to seal. Your champagne stays bubbly, your wine stays fresh. A small item that will repay your investment over and over again. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Keen cooks may want to take advantage of multi-function ovens - usually aimed at the top end of the market. As well as traditional cooking, fan or fan-assisted cooking and grilling, these ovens offer up to nine further functions. These include: Top element only (browning), bottom element (final cooking of pastry dishes or pizzas), fan and bottom element (delicate cooking), fan only (thawing). Choosing Appliance -> Shopping Dryer When shopping for a new clothes dryer, look for one with a moisture sensor that automatically shuts off the machine when your clothes are dry. Not only will this save energy, it will save wear and tear on your clothes caused by over-drying. Keep in mind that gas dryers are less expensive to operate than electric dryers. The cost of drying a typical load of laundry in an electric dryer is 30 to 40 cents compared to 15 to 25 cents in a gas dryer.
