Customer Rating:  Summary: Spice storer Comment: This is a gr8 space saver for spices. The bottom part of the system gets screwed into the cabinet for a secure base inorder to slide the drawer in and out. The cook is able to place a variety of shaped and sized bottles in the box-like container together. The half-size bottles (usually baking spices, i.e., "nutmeg & ginger") can also be stacked with ease. With more of these, the cook can organize spices, condiments, etc into different groups, i.e., "Spicey, Italian, Baking." I prefer these to several loose plastic boxes or bins. Customer Rating:  Summary: I had my doubts but -- this works! Comment: I admit that I had my doubts if this rack would do the job. Well, as the song goes... Now I'm a believer!!! It isn't big, that's for sure, but I have the "perfect" cabinet for them (narrow and deep) and without this sliding (like a drawer) spice rack i was constanly having to empty the spices out of the cabinet to get the one I wanted (why does it always seem to happen that way?). Now I'm organized (ok, at least my spices are) and if I had more space I'd simply buy MORE of these units. More Reviews High-impact styrene tray holds spices, other kitchen bottles and slides out for easy access. Can be used in the bathroom for vitamins, prescription bottles, medicines and beauty supplies. 
Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Ease of cleaning is well worth considering at the outset. Stay clean liners resist dirt build-up but pyrolitic cleaning is the ultimate. It burns off all baked-on debris at 500°C so that all you have to do is sweep out the resulting ash. Look out for ovens with a steam cleaning facility, too, and remember that some ovens have removable inner doors that are easy to clean. Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result. Useful info -> Self-Cleaning Ovens Store measuring cups, mixing bowls and other items used together in the same place. Duplicate frequently used items like cutting boards, knives and dish towels in each work area. Keep two containers - one at the baking center, the other at the range - for wooden spoons, spatulas and other cooking basics. And try to store every item at its first point of use. Keep the saute pan near the range, and stow pasta pots near the sink. |
