Customer Reviews of Trudeau Jar Spatula, Silicone
Customer Rating: Summary: The last little bit Comment: I Love this little spatula! It is just the right size for getting the last little bit in jars. It is comfortable to hold, cleans up in the dishwasher, and is a pretty color. what else could you want? Customer Rating: Summary: Trudeau spatula Comment: Best spatula I have ever used - it is meant to be a jar spatula, but I use it for everything. Cleans a mixing bowl great! Customer Rating: Summary: awesome spatula! Comment: I looked for a while to find a spatula that is flexible and has a tapered edge to it. This is just what I wanted. It helps turn the edges of fried eggs nicely. I would buy a mini version if they made it. Customer Rating: Summary: Didn"t buy for scraping Comment: I searched well over 100 sites for a spatula (not a jar scraper) that was heat resistant (600F was quite sufficient) to use for lifting the edge of crepes to turn them over and for gently lifting and stirring omelets. This works just fine and the price with "4 for 3" allowed me to buy for gifts as well as myself. Order 4 and you pay for only 3 for a net cost of $3.74 each which is a great price for a silicone spatula. As an old retired professional chef I can only say I wished everything in my kitchen served me as well as this little item. Customer Rating: Summary: Best Spatula in my drawer! Comment: I tried so many different brands and type, and this one works the best for me. It has a very soft tip which makes it easy to clean out bowls, pans, pots etc. It does not work so well on our giant peanut butter jar, since the PB tends to be harder on the bottom of the jar. But I bought it mainly for scraping cereal, puddings, cream of wheat etc. out of bowls and cups. Works fantastic. Did send it to my mom, and she was totally amazed how well it cleaned out her bowls. More Reviews This long and narrow, slightly curved spatula is just the tool you need for extracting the last of the spaghetti sauce or mayo from the jar. It's also very handy for stirring as you cook, thanks to its heat-resistance. Choosing Appliance -> Taps If you want a sink with large bowl dimensions to cope with big-pan washing-up, it is worth considering a tap with a pull-out or pull-down spray rinse. This gives you water anywhere you need it around the bowl area. Choosing Appliance -> Food Processor This is a big ticket item, but worth its weight in gold. It will save so much time when it comes to simple chopping or more advanced preparations like mayonnaise. As with most things, buy quality-- it will last longer, be capable of tougher jobs, and give you less problems. To make the food processor easiest to use, leave it on the counter top instead of storing it in a cabinet. Trudeau Jar Spatula, Silicone Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Natural Granite Maintenance Granite must not be rubbed with abrasive materials instead, wash with clean warm water to which a non-abrasive light neutral detergent (PH7) may be added. Rinse with clean warm water and dry with a chamois leather or similar. Drainer Grooves can be cleaned using wire wool. |
