Customer Reviews of Hamilton Beach 932 Commercial Citrus Juicer, Black
Customer Rating: Summary: Simply the best juicer around Comment: Why change a good thing - this is the juicer my family had when I was a kid. Now my family has it too (and my son loves to help squeeze.) I have frequently given it as gift, and everyone raves. My only caveat is that this is not the juicer for you if you want pulpy juice. Customer Rating: Summary: Best Juicer Ever! Comment: I purchased 2 for myself and 1 as a gift. This product is well made and easy to clean. Keep in mind it is tall and won't fit on your counter top under most cabinets. Don't waste your money on cheaper models! Customer Rating: Summary: Can't imagine a better citrus juicer Comment: We have two mature citrus trees: one juice orange and one white grapefruit. Both produce more fruit than you can believe. We purchased this Hamilton Beach juicer to try and deal with the sheer volume of citrus we have and then freeze the juice. The juicer performs marvelously. It is unbelievable how much juice comes out of each piece of fruit with little effort and how little waste is left behind. Seeds and most pulp are trapped, but yet the device doesn't clog. Clean up is quick and easy, too. The juicer has a nice, solid feel. The only problem is the size for storage ... it does take up some room. We are very happy with this purchase. Customer Rating: Summary: excellent juicer Comment: This is an easy to use juicer that extracts virtually all of the available juice from citrus fruits including small to medium grapefruits. Highly recommended. Customer Rating: Summary: No Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Comment: I looked at different models and different types of juicers and this is by far the best for juicing lemons, limes and oranges. I do not think it would work as well with grapefruits as they are too big for the base. We love squeezing limes in the summer and now we can do it quickly and painlessly. It's so much fun that our two daughters ages 8 and 3 want to be part of the action. It is big so make sure you have enough space for it. We have it on the counter and it looks great. It is well made, it has a nice weight to it and all components should last for a long time. I would have preferred if all parts were made of stainless steel but this is a small complaint. My only regret is that I did not buy it as soon as I found it. But now I am sure we got just the right thing. If you love lime pies, mojitos and limeade look no further. More Reviews Exerts uniform pressure to extract juice. Sturdy rack and pinion gearing allows for effortless use. Easy lever arm control yields maximum juice extraction. Collector cup is pivoted to swing out for easy, mess-free removal. Enamel finish, chrome and porcelain components are acid-resistant for easy cleaning. Strainer cone and funnel are also removable. 2 Year warranty. Choosing Appliance -> Sinks Consider which accessories might be beneficial. Many models can be supplied with a draining basket, chopping board and strainer bowls. A drainer extension can be useful for sinks without a drainer where worktop space is limited in a small kitchen. Choosing Appliance -> Energy-Efficient Refrigerators The EnergyGuide label on new refrigerators will tell you how much electricity in kilowatt-hours (kWh) a particular model uses in one year. The smaller the number, the less energy the refrigerator uses and the less it will cost you to operate. In addition to the EnergyGuide label, don't forget to look for the Energy Star label. A new refrigerator with an Energy Star label will save you between $35 and $70 a year compared to the models designed 15 years ago. This adds up to between $525 and $1,050 during the average 15-year life of the unit. Hamilton Beach 932 Commercial Citrus Juicer, Black Kitchen tips -> Onion To produce good tasting, crisp onions, slice or chop onions and place them in a bowl. Cover the onions with water and then add some ice to the water. Let the onions soak for 15 minutes to an hour and then drain before serving |
