Customer Rating:   Summary: Only 2 out 4 Personal Humidifiers purchased worked. Comment: Very interested in the concept of Personal Humidifiers being used at office, but only 2 out of the 4 purchased worked. Not a good product by this Company. Customer Rating: Summary: Works great and is silent Comment: I've had this humidifier for several years but I only pull it out when it gets really dry at work. I have not had any preformance issues, but you do have to follow the directions for it to work. This is not difficult but if you just plug it and fill it, it won't work. It has to be "primed" the first time you use it. It does a great job at humidifying the immediate (say, within 3 or 4 feet at most) area. When it is on, my hair goes from sticking to everything to obeying the rules of gravity. It also helps with keep my nasal pasages moist enough I don't have to resort to Ocean. I set it about 2 feet away from me, very near my monitor, and point the mist straight at me. I cannot hear it at all nor does anyone sitting near me. I can only tell it is on when I see the mist coming out. It truly is a personal humidifer, if you want to humidify more than the very immediate area, it is not for you. We used it non stop in the car during a recent two day trip, and it worked wonderfully. Normally my wife and I both get really dry nasal passages when we're in the car for extended periods, but this time, the personal cool mist humidifier prevented that discomfort. It's super quiet in the car, and lasted about 4 hours per fill. We tried it in the hotel as well, but for this purpose it definitely was inadequate. It simply can not keep up with that large of a space. However, in the confines of a vehicle, it was a godsend. Customer Rating: Summary: Worked for a minute then stopped! Comment: We got the humidifer and tried it in the car w/ the car adapter and it wouldn't work, then we used it in the house w/ the regular plug and it worked so we used a converter in the car to use the regular plug and it worked for about 1/2-1hour and then stopped!
