But then, we've also been experimented with different litter formulations. Sorry, insufficient info so far. Customer Rating: Summary: Spectacular Comment: I bought this air purifier 6 months ago to put in a closet where we keep our kitty litter. Before I got the purifier, despite frequent cleaning, the cat box would periodically make the whole closet and the room it was attached to smell like kitty excrement. Not fun. I was skeptical about buying this (how could something so small make the smells go away?), but it's SPECTACULAR. It has totally eliminated the kitty litter smells. I'm currently buying another one to go next to my child's diaper pail. This device totally blew away my expectations. One very small thing: the purifier buzzes softly when it purifies (it goes in bursts, so it's not constant), so if those kinds of noises irritate you, you probably shouldn't put it where you can hear it. We can't ever hear it in our closet, but out in the open, it might be more noticeable. One of these that I recently purchased is still going, but the other one is very loud (squealing) so can not be used. The one that is still working does not have the strength to do the closet, so it isn't as strong as the Sharper Image brand. (on the other hand, Sharper Image doesn't sell them anymore, which is why I went looking) If they work these are wonderful, leaving the closet smelling very clean. I lost the info on my order so don't know the specific store and can't return I assume. That was my mistake. This really fits the bill, is compact and seems to be doing an excellent job. More Reviews The Windchaser Closet Fresh ionic air purifier operates cordlessly in a closet or laundry room to eliminate odors, prevent mold, and freshen up fabrics. Operating on six C batteries or the included 12-volt AC adapter, the unit emits ozone-rich air that neutralizes the smells of smoke, perspiration, or mold. Clothing is left fresh and free of odors without the replacement scents or chemicals of artificial perfumes and sprays. In the meanwhile, two statically charged metal rods inside the unit attract tiny particulates like pollen and dust. Designed for hanging or free-standing operation, the Closet Fresh has two power levels and a "burst" option. When power is on, it runs for an initial hour then turns on once an hour automatically. Helpfully low-maintenance, the purifier requires no replacement filters--just occasional cleaning of the metal rods. When the batteries are running low, it emits a buzzing sound. Not counting the hanging hook, the unit measures 5-3/4 by 2-1/2 by 7-3/4 inches. It carries a 90-day warranty, and batteries are not included. --Emily Bedard 
Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! Choosing Appliance -> Ovens Most avid bakers prefer separate, even-heat double electric ovens. If that describes you - and you have the space - be sure one of the ovens is equipped with a broiler that provides at least 3,000 watts of cooking power. Also look for racks that pull all the way out and lock in place for safe, easy access to the oven.
