Customer Reviews of Mr. Bar-B-Q Oversized Finger/Rubber Grip Brush Set
Customer Rating: Summary: BBQ Grill Brush Comment: Convenient and economical - does a good job. I like being able to change the wire brush instead of buying a whole new grill brush. Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent brush, reasonably priced, with replacement heads Comment: This is a simple, reasonably priced grill brush that does exactly what it's supposed to do. It is well-designed and well-made from obviously high quality materials. When the brush wears out or gets caked with gunk, just pop a replacement brush on. It comes with two replacements, each with a full set of brand new screws. Highly recommended. Customer Rating: Summary: Nice item but not exactly what it says Comment: These brushes are very sturdy and heavy -- but the bristles are stainless steel, not brass. Customer Rating: Summary: Not Brass? Comment: I ordered this set thinking it was going to brass bristles. It was actually stainless steel. Amazon's description says brass but item delivered was stainless steel. The bristles are not yellow in color and stainless steel bristles is labeled on the packaging. Only noticed it after use. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Tool Comment: Does a great job at cleaning the grill. What more needs to be said! More Reviews This 21-by-3-3/4-inch wood-handled brush tackles grill cleaning with gusto. An oversized rubber grip with thumb and finger indentations meets the demand for big hands, while brass bristles on the replaceable head last through many grill cleanings. The stainless-steel scraper on the top of the brush removes baked-on food debris, but is not meant for use on porcelain cooking grids (as scratching can occur). Two extra heads come with this set. To replace the bristle head, simply use a Philips’ head screwdriver to remove the four screws on the back. A stainless-steel notch on the end of the wooden handle serves double duty as a hanging loop and bottle-opener. For best results, wash the brush by hand. --Ann Bieri Choosing Appliance -> Energy-Efficient Refrigerators The EnergyGuide label on new refrigerators will tell you how much electricity in kilowatt-hours (kWh) a particular model uses in one year. The smaller the number, the less energy the refrigerator uses and the less it will cost you to operate. In addition to the EnergyGuide label, don't forget to look for the Energy Star label. A new refrigerator with an Energy Star label will save you between $35 and $70 a year compared to the models designed 15 years ago. This adds up to between $525 and $1,050 during the average 15-year life of the unit. Choosing Appliance -> Servicing Your Appliance Buying this "service deal" can be expensive but if you feel happier knowing that you are protected from breakdown for a few years, shop around insurance brokers to see how prices compare. Mr. Bar-B-Q Oversized Finger/Rubber Grip Brush Set Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Maintain Electrical Safely The insulation on electrical cords can become damaged by wear, flexing, or age. Do not use any cord that is stiff or cracked. Some clues that you may have an electrical problem are:
