Customer Reviews of Oster 6627 100-Watt Milkshake Drink Mixer, Chrome
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Milkshakes Comment: For many years, I have used a blender to make milkshakes. This is not the easiest way, so I decided to buy a unit similar to ones found in ice cream shops. I picked this unit because of the chrome finish--easier to keep clean. I am VERY happy with this item. I keep it on my kitchen counter ready to use. SO easy--just add ice cream, milk, flavoring and mix. The turn top for speed control is easy to use. It blends the ingredients quickly and easily. The container is easy to handle--I just wish the container held a little more. What a great buy! Customer Rating: Summary: Retro Milkshake Night Comment: Bought this product because of its reasonable price and retro look. Pop uses it every time the grands come for dinner... its an after dinner tradition to watch Pop make milkshakes the old fashioned way. I priced other similar products... this one was the best priced with the right look. Makes great shakes. Looks nice on my counter tucked in a corner waiting for the next family event! Cleans easily. Doesn't take up much space. Customer Rating: Summary: Nice looking but underpowered Comment: I bought this mixer exclusively to make milkshakes. With medium hard ice cream it boughs down severely and takes a couple of minutes to completely mix the ingredients... milk, chocolate fudge, malt. As "Scotty" would say "aye need mooore power", so I bought a commercial Hamilton Beach mixer with 3/4 hp... Customer Rating: Summary: malteds Comment: it makes very good malteds for those who complain send them to our local malt shoppe and pay three dollars for a stinking malted! Customer Rating: Summary: We like it. Would be nice to be able to take blade off for proper washing Comment: The product is nice and does what we expected it to do pretty well. The only downside is not being able to take the blade off to wash it. More Reviews If you're hankering for a thick chocolate shake or vanilla malt, let Oster lend a hand. Their classic milk shake maker has a two-speed switch control for making shakes as well as smoothies. Its heavy duty, 100 watt motor and commercial design (equipped with aeration discs) combine ingredients in seconds for thick, frothy drinks. Blend drinks directly into the 28-oz. stainless steel cup - it will keep your drink ice cold. The die cast chrome construction offers stability when mixing. Comes with a safety device that prevents the milk shake maker from running without the stainless cup in place. Choosing Appliance -> Ovens Most avid bakers prefer separate, even-heat double electric ovens. If that describes you - and you have the space - be sure one of the ovens is equipped with a broiler that provides at least 3,000 watts of cooking power. Also look for racks that pull all the way out and lock in place for safe, easy access to the oven. On the inside, a dark interior shows less baked-on grime, while a porcelain interior is easier to clean Choosing Appliance -> Taps If you want a sink with large bowl dimensions to cope with big-pan washing-up, it is worth considering a tap with a pull-out or pull-down spray rinse. This gives you water anywhere you need it around the bowl area.
