Customer Reviews of Cuisipro Dome Splatter Screen
Customer Rating: Summary: Better than a flat one. Comment: I love this splatter screen. There is enough room to keep most of the splatter from being forced through the screen, as was the case with the flat screen. In addition no condensation is created unlike some of the others. The feet are a great idea but would work better on an electric stove top, rather than my open gas top. Customer Rating: Summary: Splatter screen Comment: Nice item, easy to use and something that I've been wanting for a while. I would recommend it. More Reviews Our Cuisipro® Dome Splatter Screen is a hugely successful item that outperforms and outclasses all other screen on the market. Constructed of superior stainless steel mesh, the long curved handle on both the screen and the strainers fit comfortably in the hand and stays cool. Ergonomically designed to fit 10"/28 cm and 12"/34 cm pans. Perfect for ingredient that stand higher than the pan. Dishwasher safe. Choosing Appliance -> Convection Ovens Convection ovens allow you to bake more foods (cookies, muffins, etc.) at once with even browning, but without the need to shift and rotate pans. A convection oven is the same as a conventional oven except a fan is installed in the back interior of the oven. The fan is used to blow and force the heat to circulate in the oven and around the food, thus eliminating the need to rotate and shift pans. In reality, though, even with the most expensive convection ovens, you will still need to rotate your foods, because there will always exist still hot spots in the cavity, because the cavity is small. Don't compare home convection ovens with most commercial convection ovens used by bakers and small food manufacturers, because their commercial ovens are much larger than home ovens and commercial ovens don't have any hot spots and therefore, there's no need to shift and rotate pans. Choosing Appliance -> Ladles Look for ladles that are made of one piece of stainless steel rather than a handle and dome which are spot welded together. With use, spot welded ladles tend to come apart. Buy several differnet sizes. Cuisipro Dome Splatter Screen Kitchen tips -> Pastries For best results when making pastries, use whole milk rather than low-fat or fat free milk. |
