Customer Reviews of Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned Round Cast-Iron Grill Press
Customer Rating: Summary: This sucker is heavier than it appears! Comment: As you've read tips from others, this press has many uses depending on how creative you are. I'm impressed by how heavy it is, far more than it appears from its size. And it's larger than it looks in the picture. You'll only have to buy one in a lifetime, so feed that impulse and buy it. Customer Rating: Summary: Great addition! Comment: A great addition to my kitchen, this grill press is heavy enough to work as advertised, but small enough to handle easily. Works MUCh better than the foil-covered brick I've been using! Customer Rating: Summary: Great Product Comment: Everything I expected. Heavy, functional. The review about difficult assembly made me a little hesitant before purchasing; however, assembling the handle can be accomplished easily in less than a minute. I've even used it like a paperweight on some "almost permenantly rolled up" newspapers to help them lie flat. Still, its best use is for the really thick slices of bacon that come from the local butcher, as intended. Cast iron is a great cooking tool as far as I'm concerned. Customer Rating: Summary: Real Nice Comment: Handy to use. Could have been designed better so that food would not get trapped in screw area where handle attaches. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Panini Press Comment: Does a great job as a medium heavy press. Just remember to preheat and you won't have to flip! More Reviews Sometimes a round grill press might just be what you need since most skillets are round! For more than 100 years, Lodge has been perfecting the process of making cast iron cookware. Choosing Appliance -> Ovens Most avid bakers prefer separate, even-heat double electric ovens. If that describes you - and you have the space - be sure one of the ovens is equipped with a broiler that provides at least 3,000 watts of cooking power. Also look for racks that pull all the way out and lock in place for safe, easy access to the oven. On the inside, a dark interior shows less baked-on grime, while a porcelain interior is easier to clean Choosing Appliance -> Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned Round Cast-Iron Grill Press Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Hob and grill cooking Modern appliances reach higher temperatures quicker - and often hold heat longer. To avoid worktop damage, follow both the appliance manufacturers instructions and these rules:
