Customer Reviews of KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials 10-Piece Hard-Anodized Cookware Set
Customer Rating: Summary: good set for any kitchen Comment: all sets are fine, good for any kitchen, no scratches, washing is breeze and heat is distributed properly. recommended Customer Rating: Summary: Great Value! Comment: These pans are great. I thought you could never find a non-stick pan that's actually "non-stick". But I was wrong, this one is. When I cook, I like to burn some stuff a little just to get that crunchy taste to the food and I always had a problem washing the pans that I had. These pans are easy to clean without any elbow grease. I had non-stick calphalon cookware and they weren't even close to being as good as these pans. I gave those away and kept these. These are even a lot cheaper than the calphalon set that I bought. Customer Rating: Summary: Great to cook with! Comment: I'm not a gourmet chef, but these pots make it so I could be! They have easy to grip rubber handles, easy to clean glass tops, and are great for any kitchen! The non-stick coating really works and food slides out of the frying pans and pots with no effort or scraping! If you're looking to upgrade your kitchen this is a great product for the price!! Customer Rating: Summary: Kitchen Aide cookware Comment: This product is excellent. No sticking, burning, warping, etc. Worth the money-seems like they will hold up well. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Cookware All Around Comment: I love this set. My husband loves this set. We aren't gourmet chefs by any means, but this makes it easier to cook without all of our food sticking to the pans. We wash dishes by hand anyway, so this isn't anymore difficult to care for than our old pots and pans. My only wish is for lids to fit the pans. Everything else was pefect. Love it, would recommend it to anyone that cooks on a regular basis. We got it when it was down to 99.99, so watch for sales. More Reviews Whether you're starting up or starting over, the KitchenAid Hard-Anodized 10-pc. Cookset is the perfect kitchen staple. This metal pot and pan set features hard-base ceramic, nonstick interiors for outstanding food release, durability and scratch resistance and heavy-duty, break-resistant glass lids that sit firmly on the pots and pans. Each piece also features cool grip handles that provide a safe grip. Choosing Appliance -> Strainers We recommend 2 strainers for every kitchen. The first is a solid stainless steel colander (one big enough to wash a lot of lettuce at once). The second strainer is a fine mesh conical strainer (called a chinois) which is a must for any serious sauce or stock making. A chinois is an expensive purchase, but with care it will last many years. Choosing Appliance -> Whip / Whisk Many still consider a whip as a "gourmet" piece of kitchen equipment. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is as essential as a kitchen stove and should be in everyone's kitchen. Nothing works better for mixing a multitude of different preparations or for making sauces or gravy. Buy a solid stainless steel whip with moderately stiff wires. Very thin wires are for mixing delicate things like egg whites or whipped cream. Very thick, solid wires are for mixing stiff dough. KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials 10-Piece Hard-Anodized Cookware Set Kitchen tips -> Too salty soup If your soup becomes too salty when you are preparing it, try adding a teaspoon of sugar and a teaspoon of cider vinegar to combat the saltiness. Another method to try is to add a raw potato to the soup to absorb some of the extra salt |
