Customer Rating:  Summary: Love them!! Comment: Sharp and hold edge. Loved so much, I ordered another set. Can never find one to use, because everyone else in the family likes these so well, they are always grabbing them to use. Need to order another set for just me!! Customer Rating:  Summary: Very Sharp Knives, But Handle is Too Light! Comment: The knives are very sharp...but the handle is too light! Therefore the knives do not feel balanced when using them. It's almost a bit scary as I have to be so very careful to not cut myself. A more balanced heavier handle would have made these a five star set. Nice for the money, but not as pleasurable to work with since one has to be so careful! Customer Rating: Summary: kitchen helpers Comment: These knives are as described, sharp, light weight and have comfortable handles. They do the job at a low price. Customer Rating: Summary: BAD BLADES ~GOOD HANDLES Comment: These Henckels blades are not premium quality. I like the blades on the Swiss made Forschner paring knives more than these, but the larger handles on these Chinese made Henckels knives were more comfortable for my large hands. I have an older German made Henckels paring knife that has a superior blade to these blades. Too bad you can't purchase the Forschner blades with these Henckels handles. These Chinese made Henckels paring knives are still better than a cheap supermarket brand. I recommend the Forschner paring knife set over the Henckels paring knife set, but they both have there pros and cons. Fully closed poly handles are breakproof, dishwasher safe and hygienic. 
Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! Choosing Appliance -> Fridge / Freezers Added features such as ice making and drinks dispensers can all add to the appeal of certain models. Ice making is an option on many American style fridge-freezers, sometimes available without opening the door, as are cold water dispensers. Zoned models offer several storage areas, all at different temperatures, designed to keep a variety of foods fresh for longer.
