Customer Reviews of Yamazaki Bolo 2-Piece Salad Serve Set
Customer Rating: Summary: Kind of graceless, but utile Comment: If you want a stainless salad set, and you have Bolo, this is it. They are just ok, but they match. Customer Rating: Summary: Terrific, Simple Salad Set! Comment: My husband and I chose the Yamazaki BOLO Pie/Cake Serving Set for our casual outdoor wedding, and its simple elegance was perfect for our special day. We were so impressed with the clean style, balanced weight and quality of the BOLO line that, shortly after the wedding, we decided to go with the BOLO line for our everyday stainless. As a result, we have ordered a number of the available sets, and the Salad Set did not disappoint. Like the Pie/Cake Serving Set, the Salad Set has terrific proportions, is extremely comfortable to hold and looks great! More Reviews A set that's both sleek and smart. The heavy-gauge, stainless steel salad fork and spoon feature hollow handles that are perfectly balanced for comfort and ease of use. Choosing Appliance -> Convection Ovens Convection ovens allow you to bake more foods (cookies, muffins, etc.) at once with even browning, but without the need to shift and rotate pans. A convection oven is the same as a conventional oven except a fan is installed in the back interior of the oven. The fan is used to blow and force the heat to circulate in the oven and around the food, thus eliminating the need to rotate and shift pans. In reality, though, even with the most expensive convection ovens, you will still need to rotate your foods, because there will always exist still hot spots in the cavity, because the cavity is small. Don't compare home convection ovens with most commercial convection ovens used by bakers and small food manufacturers, because their commercial ovens are much larger than home ovens and commercial ovens don't have any hot spots and therefore, there's no need to shift and rotate pans. Choosing Appliance -> Whip / Whisk Many still consider a whip as a "gourmet" piece of kitchen equipment. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is as essential as a kitchen stove and should be in everyone's kitchen. Nothing works better for mixing a multitude of different preparations or for making sauces or gravy. Buy a solid stainless steel whip with moderately stiff wires. Very thin wires are for mixing delicate things like egg whites or whipped cream. Very thick, solid wires are for mixing stiff dough. Yamazaki Bolo 2-Piece Salad Serve Set Kitchen tips -> Chicken pieces When cooking chicken pieces, start with the dark pieces and then add the white chicken. The dark takes longer to cook than the white, so starting the dark first will assist in the white and dark getting done close to the same time |
