Customer Rating:  Summary: wine glasses Comment: Approximaqtely a third of the retail price because the box had been opened, but in new condition. Exactly what I needed and very fast delivery, but they were 7 1/2 oz size not 5 3/4. Didn't matter as I needed four of either size. Customer Rating: Summary: lovely Comment: In this order was 1 set of these goblets, 2 sets of the larger goblet, 4 sets of tumblers, and 1 pitcher. They were shipped in 3 boxes at different times. One box looked knocked about and one box had tape coming off of it. I was very concerned as i had just received 2 orders of Gibson china and one set had 2 broken bowls in it. (amazon made it right in a more than acceptable manner) My anxiety grew as i opened the packing boxes to find only the item boxes inside with no bubble wrap on them. To my utter pleasure all the pieces were intact in all of the boxes. I will be ordering more of these little lovelies. They are a great size for the little glass of wine. The larger ones are a bit too large for me but can be used for drinking glasses if one wanted or a large glass of red with a meal. I feel so special when i look at my everyday drinking glasses and wine glasses in my cabinet and see them sparkling a smile a me. Customer Rating: Summary: Equals the Very Expensive Ones! Comment: At Christmas, was attending mother-in-laws home for Holiday. She has some beautiful goblet and I ask about them. The cost was way too much. So I went to Amazon, looking. I found these and ordered two sets (8 goblets). They are, in my opinion, nice and less likely to break than the expensive ones. If one gets broke, its no big deal. I am always happy with my Amazon purchases..and get them well packed and very fast. Customer Rating: Summary: Cute little glasses! Comment: Pretty, cheap wine glasses designed with clumsy hands in mind. I got tired of delicate crystal that chipped when I looked at it the wrong way. These little gems sparkle and ring when you tap them and though they may not be expensive, they'll last awhile. If you drink a lot of wine with a meal, you might want a larger bowl, though. Choosing Appliance -> Convection Ovens Convection ovens allow you to bake more foods (cookies, muffins, etc.) at once with even browning, but without the need to shift and rotate pans. A convection oven is the same as a conventional oven except a fan is installed in the back interior of the oven. The fan is used to blow and force the heat to circulate in the oven and around the food, thus eliminating the need to rotate and shift pans. In reality, though, even with the most expensive convection ovens, you will still need to rotate your foods, because there will always exist still hot spots in the cavity, because the cavity is small. Don't compare home convection ovens with most commercial convection ovens used by bakers and small food manufacturers, because their commercial ovens are much larger than home ovens and commercial ovens don't have any hot spots and therefore, there's no need to shift and rotate pans. Choosing Appliance -> Strainers We recommend 2 strainers for every kitchen. The first is a solid stainless steel colander (one big enough to wash a lot of lettuce at once). The second strainer is a fine mesh conical strainer (called a chinois) which is a must for any serious sauce or stock making.
