Customer Rating:  Summary: Superb set of dinnerware! Comment: This is not the cheapest set on the market but it's well worth every penny. Indonesia-made plates and mugs are of very high quality. Individual design of higher-than-usual artistic quality on every plate and mug create endless opportunities to mix-and-match and talk about it at the dinner table. Bottom "circles" of the plates and mugs are very smooth and do not scratch table surface - valuable quality for me and my glass-top dinner table. The surface of the plates and embedded pictures are hard enough so steel silverware does not scratch them. Dishes are microwave safe, dishwasher safe, chip-resistant and lighter than common porcelain dishes. I am very satisfied with this set. I bought other Butterfly bowls to complement the set. Though, I had the items in my amazon "wishlist" and waited few weeks for their Friday and weekend sales and got those at sizeable discount. Choosing Appliance -> Plastic wrap An absolute must with a million and a half uses. But do not buy just any plastic wrap. Go to a restaurant supply store and buy a large roll of restaurant plastic wrap. It sticks much better than the common grocery store plastic wrap and is much cheaper per foot. Choosing Appliance -> Salad spinner While some may consider this a bit on the gadgety side, I think it is a must as dressings do not stick to water-logged salad greens.
